Can't be Beckham, we have been heavily linked with him in the media for an eternity and he even trained with us for 2 months so I can't believe that a source would need protecting over a Beckham transfer

We can either continue to post our own pet theories, which would then give POTL the giggles he could possibly be craving and the juice required to post yet more cryptics so he can point at us and say "look at them silly ****s on SC, spending half their lives trying to solve something that's already been solved, oh how easy it is to wind them up"

Or

We can show strength. We can show solidarity. We can show that we're above all this. We can show that we will not allow the cryptic to be king. We can show strength of character and a refusal to be bowed by riddles. We can stop posting solutions and move on, heads held high, proud in the knowledge that we remain unbowed and undefeated. We can show backbone, we can be men.

So how about it SC? Whatsaytheee? Are you going to stand up and be counted? Are you going to go down in history as strong men? Or are you going to be complete pussies?

I think we're all missing a crucial revelation made in A&C's roundup and completely burying the lead....

I read this earlier this morning in an article about accidental deaths in Tudor times............
In 1557 when the Duke of Norfolk's horse stumbled on a road in Tottenham, his gun went off and shot dead a servant.

Why the fuck did the Duke of Norfolk's horse have a gun? Were Tudor horses armed? Did we at some stage engage in bloody war with a militia of our four-legged friends? Should we be concerned that horses might return to these be-weaponed ways?

Well yes of course we should be concerned. Because if we're all dodging horse bullets, how the hell are we supposed to concentrate on solving all the cryptic ITK?!

I'm worried SC....very worried.

Posted: Today at 8:33am Modric and bale are not for sale at any money, we are not in negotiations for any player in or out at present, it would be very unlikely we will pay big money for a player over 30 (re Parker) re the stadium we are 300m short for the ndp, harry is hard to control and the press can goad him into saying things, we have 35 players and they want to sell 12, likes moyes, says that we expect the majority of our sales to happen at the end of the window due to the lack of spending power from the promoted teams, only 4 clubs currently qualify under the new uefa fair play rules, if an outstanding player becomes available we will try to buy them and we don have to sell first, woodgate only to be offered new contract if he will be fit enough for the 25 man squad,

I'm not sure. He's still on the webpage.

I'm assuming the 35 man squad means first teamers rather than any yoofs so if you don't include Livermore and Stipe it's hard to get to 12 people we'll be selling.

Actually I didn't mention Palacios in my list. So sub him in for Livermore.

I find it quite hard to believe that we are having no discussions regarding players either in or out. It seems fairly clear that both O'Hara and Leandro are being discussed.
