So all the ITK are unanimous it seems in that we will/have offered Bale a big salary contract extension.

Also I would love Villa here, if it means bringing in another striker as well and a young and upcoming one.

And I don't see the potential of Livermore to be a good enough player for a Top 4 side. He might be fine at Villa, but he takes the place other, more talented guys could need. I would like to have a look on Luongo. And in 1-2 years Vejlkovic. In addition to them Tom Carroll.

You may well be right, but at least after a full year with a PL side we will have a better idea and he should improve for the experience. If we decide that he isn't up to the required standard we should get a better price and if he shows that he is up to it .... It's a not lose situation really.

Yeah, fair point, BUT VILLA CAN HAVE LIVERMORE IF THEY WANT!

;)

Again as per my reply to Carpediem, I would prefer a loan so that we get a btter idea of what he could do after a full year playing in a PL side.

I think we should send Livermore out on loan for a season.
We could get more for him, or see how he does with a good run of games

Reckon the outs could make quite a sum, BAE Hudd and Ade/Defoe alone could be 30mill. The wages of them all will be substantial.

I think it will make him more consistent, but I don't see much scope for dynamic improvement with this guy...he's a kinda 'name on the tin' player.

That is some serious wages going out and they should bring in a few bob from the transfer fees - IF we can find teams for all of them. I hope we don't let our promising youngsters go, assuming they are still youngsters, but the kind of names mentioned might not actually be the ones being released, perhaps?

Irrespective it seems as if we are freeing up some wages, a rough fag packet calculation brought me to around £300K per week for the 1 st teams mentioned. But what to I really know (answer Sweet FA!).

Obika? He's impressing ATM

Yeah but it's the same thing as Livermore. He isn't a young kid anymore. He is 22 and realistically never going to get into our side. Whats the point of paying wages to someone that old that is nowhere near the 1st team.

Why Obika? Thought he was one of the more talented ones?

He will be almost 23 when the next season starts.
If they dont think he is good enough to step up to the first team then what would we do with him?

He hasnt been great when he has been out on loan either
