The Leandro saga dragging on for a couple of years and the Sandro transfer being a pain in the arse could well be how Internacional do their dealing rather than south american teams overall. The chairman of Corinthians has pretty much said straightaway that a deal is to be made and there are quotes of some sort already from both players. This is a positive in my eyes and with Baldini there or thereabouts maybe we actually are on the verge of having another couple of Brazilians! Dealing with Inter has been like watching a fat kid at an all you can eat chinese buffet, there is just no end in sight. I'm hoping this time we get in do the deal and go on an crush the (supposed) top 4 clubs midfields for years to come

I reckon with that size of population we should aim for 3 at least.

f*** the economic disaster, I want goals.
You are not suggesting by any chance that some Chairman or clubs are more difficult to deal with than others? As it happens the ITK talks about us also moving goalposts as the process goes along.
I realise this one is from our menu, but do you really have an inexhaustible library of emoticons? There seams to be one for every occasion...

£15m each to their respective clubs. Plus fees to thier third party pimps.

imo it's not just the matter of buying, but also sth to do with regulations on work permit (ie. int. caps, etc.) as well, which make the already complicated transaction even more complicated. Yet, they are dealing with Mr. Daniel Levy, who is apparently not the easiest person to make a deal with.
Been unable to post for the last 7-10 days as I've been busy with work, but have been trying to keep up to date reading the thread - things are certainly getting interesting ! All for Paulinho and Bernard. Paulinho will most definitely increase our depth and options in the middle, and move us towards having two players for each position.....
3 CMs - Sandro, Paulinho/Guarin, Dembele, Holtby, Parker ?, Carroll. Something like that would give us great options and depth. It could obviously be moved around a little eg Parker sold, Carroll out on loan, Sigurdsson getting games as the most advanced CM etc etc, but we are moving in the right direction if we secure some of the targets mentioned.
I still think that pulling out of the Damaio deal is strangely enough our best route to getting him. Make Internacional really sweat on the demands they have made, then hopefully Damaio sees the Brazilian influence at the club increase and is even more eager to come = us finally getting him for a reduced fee of around 15m odd.
The AVB and Bale stuff might seem a little alarming to some, but its all part of the roller coaster ride and I'm not personally worried by it.
@jetsetyid Protected account3mNothing in Bernard at the moment ! New swede scout who is mate of the chief exec DE. Numpty.
Baldini hasn't a clue about players either!! #worrying
