More good news?

JJ has said 'New stadium for home games in Jan ✅ Looking at bringing in a few in January too'

Surprised he said "bring in a few"

Perhaps he meant, we're "we're looking at a few" and then we'd bring in one?

That said, a loan deal until the end of the season and/or a couple of young prospects might be doable?

Looking to bring a few in, doensn't mean we'll actually bring all of them in. I expect none, and as such would be positively surprised by just one.

ali z on eriksen contract situation: He is waiting for a club, if they want him he will go, luckily he only wants to go to one club so if they don't show interest will stay.

Got to be Barcelona the way the Danish press have been trying to sell him there for the last 5 years.

I'd love him to stay but if he acts professionally and we get top dollar for him I'd wish him well. I don't think it would be the disaster it would of been a couple of years ago.

Disaster, no. But he won't be easy to replace and we might have to alter the way we play if he leaves.

Anyway, Eriksen has always been a top professional and he has been instrumental to this club and its renaissance. A part of me wishes that he can fulfill his boyhood dream and play for Barcelona at some point.

Why got to Barca with Countinho there? They need defenders, not attackers....just and observation is all.

Genuinely who the fuck do we replace him with though? He’s the heartbeat of our team. I’d be gutted if he left.

100% Barca, wasn't there things in the past that he has a career plan and Ajax to a team of our level at that time and eventually Barcelona

We'd have a lot of money to find someone to take his place...
But there's only a handful of players in world football that are at his level, and they would all be just as difficult to pry away from their teams as i'm sure Barca (or whoever) will find dealing with Levy over Eriksen.

The reality is that it's unlikely that an Eriksen replacement will be able to instantly perform at the same level, which would be a massive blow to the team as he's one of our most important players.

That depends on when Barcelona come in for him. Come the summer he'll only have a year left on his contract, so if we do sell it will be for far less than he's worth, but we'll have no choice or risk losing him for nothing.

Drop Kane back, stick Llorente up front. Have HK ping 40 yarders onto Llorente's bonce for the rest of the season. Job's a gooden

Well he had a good audition the other night. possibly why he played the best he has almost all season. But the money we would be talking we should be able to get a top notch replacement. Hopefully they dont come in obviously and he stays for a few more years at least

Seeing as we've had the ITK on him, I've moved the Eriksen thread into this part of the site so that you can discuss the ramifications of his possible departure within that venue.

You lot don't deserve me :D
