I am not expecting much outs until the nearer the close of the window.

We’ve got a bloated squad as we have bought before selling. As a result, Levy will do well to get decent fees for the ones we want out. Big clubs rarely make an overall profit from player trading. This is the mindset we need to get used to. I reckon we may have to wait till nearer the end of the window and accept loans out for the majority of them (ironically being Levy’ed) ie We’re currently demanding 20m for winks but nearer deadline day, a club could probably get him on loan.

I'd like to see some outs soon. I know the signings are the priority for pre-season and we have ages to flog the deadwood but it's a decent amount of budget locked up in players we're expecting to shift.
I agree, but the fact we’ve brought in players sends a clear message that if people don’t move, they won’t even make the PL squad and will be kicking their heels until Jan unless they leave.

Don't give me none of that oooh the leccy is expensive or have you seen how much a can of beans costs shit, there's no need to squander your money on food and rent when SC needs to keep going, fucks sakes, where's your priorities?

So click the link, stand on your hands and give your arse a shake, lets see what falls out. Knowing you lot, a half chewed piece of lego, some bumfluff and a mangled fruit salad chew

Who is making way for all these signings .... if my maths is on point that's 9 incoming and only gollini has gone... winks, Berg, lo celso, reggie, Emerson, ndombele, sanchez?, rodon?, gil?, maura? ... only missing a striker and that's a complete team outgoing... wow!!!
Carter Vickers went to Celtic.

Agree with this. Once we close Spence and Lenglet that is the key positions wrapped up, from there we should lighten the squad. Then we can be opportunistic in the second half of the window and try to get that LCB+attacking player.
Would prefer we wrapped up Bremer as well then trim the squad.

Surely there will be no more in after those two until we've got at least 3-4 players out.
I know that we are use to the last few days of no action panic, but this window is different. We still have more than two months to do the sales, which is more than enough time once we get our acquisitions. Personally not concerned as I know that FP got this!!

I think the much improved finances of the club and the cash injection make us a lot more relaxed on this front. Worst case scenario for any outs where we definitely need the player to leave is that someone will pay a loan fee that more than covers the players salary and puts them in the shop window. The only one that will be a pain to shift in that sense is Ndombele but that's hardly new information.

Hopefully once money starts sloshing around the market we'll start to see some decent offers going in for some of our players as a lot of them will have suitors.

I’d prefer Hakimi over anyone else, he would make us title challengers, I’d love Bastoni and Bremer, but honestly think we need Hakimi more than any other player.

Checking the site like it’s deadline day, and there are still two months to go!!
Fantastic to be getting deals done so early!

We need a big club mentality. The club appears to be getting that. I'm not sure that all the fans are.
We need to think in terms of large squads. We need to stop thinking in terms of a "default starting eleven".
We need to understand that in each game we will have the use of 5 substitutes, and that in Conte's systems regular substitutions in some positions will be the norm, because of the extra effort required in those positions.
Conte will want to compete in 4 competitions, not merely take part in them.
We need to improve the squad if possible to the level that Conte requires, bearing in mind the regulations in various competitions for home-grown players.
Then we can start thinking about moving some players on, either through loans or sales, but these players will be those that Conte doesn't want, which won't necessarily coincide with the players that individual fans have a pet-hate for.
Sit back and enjoy the ride.

He’s free, homegrown so that’s a positive. The season after his West Ham time I would be for it, now a year of very little football, not as much

Didn't he leave Utd for more game time?

Can't imagine him swapping their bench for ours tbh.

Nah I’m sorry but we should be aiming higher. Don’t care if he’s free.

I’m all for filling out the squad but at some point we’re going to have to sign some bonafide top top players rather than adding astute rotation options all over the pitch.
