As Rawhide stated..... For info, please don't get too caught up on the "red" as the original German that A&C quotes refers to luftballon which means balloon. The red was only added to the English version to increase the syllable count to match the original so that it scans.

£6million seems about right for Livermore as competition was always too strong for him to push his way to a starting berth and doubt he'd settle for a squad role now.
