Just had a quick update and nothing groundbreaking but from what I was sent I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see 4 come in between now and the end of the window. Not saying that's guaranteed but it honestly wouldn't surprise me, especially if we manage to shift a few.

Cheers for the update, as much as I’d like to see a few new faces, it’s your last 8 words I want to happen the most (if it’s players we want to lose of course!)

"Especially if we shift a few out" doesn't mean we won't bring four in unless we shift a few out it means if we do shift a few out he'd be even more confident we'll bring in four.
I guess how each of us interprets Hotspur88's info shows where we sit on the positivity/negativity spectrum.

Lol all this talk about it being our worst window ever. It's not even closed for another week.

WE WILL BE ACTIVE THIS WEEK!!!

the bedwetters want the players in by the 1st pre-season training session every year. the trouble is we are not big enough to get it done unless it's under the spotlight deals like Gil and Sarr. until we start generating and really earning off the new stadium and in the CL we are still in a position where we have to wait for the bigger boys to do their business. it's no good us going for a player that's always dreamt of playing for Barca, RM, Man U or Liverpool, when it's down to getting even bigger wages they will pick Chelsea or City, and that's even if we are in the CL

Thanks for the update.

Personally I think there has been a general shift from all ITK recently, from ‘we will’ get at least 4 in (5 if Kane goes) to ‘we may’ get a few more in. Totally understandably as well…

Firstly, the Kane saga really has caused a lot of problems for our wider recruitment plans as clubs prices have significantly risen in anticipation of us getting a windfall for Kane.

Nuno has had more time to evaluate players like Tanganga and Sanchez (potentially meaning we will not spend on the likes of Tomiyasu and Lacroix).

And we really do need to shift Aurier, Sissoko,Winks etc. This has been the most disappointing aspect, but grounded in reality, as I Paratici seemed like he would excel in creative deals.

Tuesday 31st the window shuts. I thoroughly enjoy the last week leading to that day - will we, won’t we etc. And I appreciate all the ITK shared etc. Do I get peeved at the way Spurs do things? Yea. But I tend to balance it with the rest of my life. I’m encouraged by @Hercules, @Trix & @Hotspur88 info, and I hope it comes to pass. I’ll probably cuss & curse the club if it doesn’t but, really, it’s all beyond my control the way we buy/sell etc… So, thanks for everyone’s contributions in this and other threads; it’s become an integral part of the spurs season for me. Up the Spurs ?

I’m still confident we’ll broadly get what we need - the ITK message has been the same throughout I.e. it’s a weird market so expect activity late.

There is also a bit of news building around supposed outgoings - Ndombele and Sissoko for example - so fingers crossed!

I think H’s involvement today will tell us a lot about his situation but FYI (and my only remotely ITK ever) he was 100% on the travel list for Portugal on Thursday, along with the rest of the first team before a late change of mind by Nuno to take the ressies.

I for one would be amazed if we got another 4 in this window, not ITK, just know Tottenham :(

If we manage to shift a few” should be a huge cause for concern.

That we could end this transfer window and still have Aurier, Sissoko, Winks, Dier, CCV, Davies, Sanchez, Dele and Doherty on the payroll would rightly cause uproar, if you think back to our expectations at the start of the window.

We’ve made the environment so nice now with the stadium, the lodge it’s all 5 star. While that’s great for attracting players it’s a nightmare for shifting dead wood. Add in London and most on a decent wage I don’t blame them for wanting to stay.

In fairness though, they're expectations set amongst fans on the internet. It's almost certainly not the case that the club would reasonably expect to be able to shift and replace so many players in one go, and personally that type of turnover seems wildly unrealistic to me, and I doubt I'm alone in that. So "rightly" is surely a bit of a stretch. People will be annoyed as they always are, and as clearly some already are, but if people went into this window actually expecting us to shift 8 out and 8 in and then want to be in uproar when it doesn't happen...I mean they've set themselves up to be disappointed from the first minute haven't they?

Christ that's a depressing list. I'd be quite happy if we managed to shift 3 of that lot, 4 I'd call it a good window.

What a bunch of worry warts in here. We are post-pandemic so it’s no surprise the market is manouevering looking for an advantage, That’s exactly why Levy brought Paratici in for, and I am fascinated to see how it goes for ins and outs over the next few windows. Signs are we are building towards an exciting young squad and I for one am looking forward to it.

That's all good and well, but it concerns me over the level of commitment we'll have from him.
Hes after a PL scoring record.. I don't think it's going to be a problem with commitment.
My concern is more the dressing room
