Well POTL has come out with the pro-keane line. I can see value in both views.
Keane must be pissed off that JD gets picked ahead of him even when he is really fit or on form. JD was rushed back at the end of last season and was poor, and he's not firing at the moment. If the next in line is a kid that's one thing, but I can understand why Keane would be pissed that he didnt start on Tuesday. When JD did his groin it would only have made things worse. I thought Keane was a lot more effective on Tuesday than JD, and showed why we should keep him. He did looked mega peeved when Jordan was talking to him at half time.
However, where is he going to go? Who can afford the fee and the wages?
I think he can still do a job. He is the only striker who comes deep for the ball and changes a rigid 4-4-2 into something different.
I guess if he is still 'injured' on wednesday it may answer a few more questions.
