Poch apparently went to bat for Toby when it came to getting him a new contract - only for it to be spat back in his face with his agent moving the goalposts numerous times.

I'd be seriously annoyed too. Poch gives his all to his players, and quite rightly expects the same in return.

Ordinarily I'd be rather happy at such news, as it could mean we get to keep a bloody good player. However, I like the thought that, finally, an apparently greedy bunch of snakes could ultimately end up biting themselves. Been waiting years for someone to suffer such an outcome.

Now I'm conflicted, though. Part of me really likes the thought of him having no choice but to agree terms of the contract that we upped our offer to, but he turned down. But part of me kind of hopes he (or his agent) end up being told to fuck off and he's left in limbo.

Nice to know Martial wants us, I understood he was happy to come to us three years ago when we tried for him but his club pulled the plug and then went with United, if so he must feel we have wanted him for three years, that has to be a good feeling for any player.

Next few months gonna be a fun one. As an American, Pulisic signing for Spurs is the combo of quality, branding, and marketing Spurs would figure out how to pull off. With the NFL being a big aspect of the new stadium, this signing makes too much sense. While he is most likely an attacking mid in the middle or flanks, he can play deeper and wouldn’t surprise me if he transitioned into a guy that would take the ball out of the back half playing next to Dier in a 4-2-3-1 IF Dembele and Wanyama go.
