Not bashing, but I'm told all the keano stuff is nonsense, and that although we're trying for fabiano, we're not as far down the line as some are saying. My source thinks this bust up stuff is more hilarious than the anelka suggestions. Just passing on.

just to say though, i am NOT itk & would never suggest to contradict yidio or archie for that matter regards this....however, knowing the source this is from i am supremely confident of its legitimacy

ok here goes.....

he is absolutely adament that robbie keane when told the team before the young boys match had a huge & i mean mega go at H...when joe jordan stepped in & gave him what for it became very heated & was split up by other players.....

keanes annoyance was that defoe was picked to play even though he had been complaining of groin pains all week & yet others were rested when they had complained....he saw this as a huge show of disrespect....

he is subject of offers from west ham & celtic

im being told he wont figure for certain on wednesday (this is a pretty bold statement) & he has more than likely played his last game for tottenham....to reiterate, he is NOT injured & it was a matter of club discipline that he wasnt selected to travel to stoke...

we have agrred a €14mil deal for luis fabiano

he wants to leave sevilla, they want him gone because he will not sign a new contract....he wants to come to spurs...he will be our player before the 31st august

this info has been reiterated as certain fact....like i said it isnt mine & its 3rd hand due to the situation but i thought you would appreciate me trying to clarify

Thanks for your info.

To confirm, Keane is injured, a knee injury. He was in for treatment AM yesterday and then given afternoon off- free to spend it how he wanted. Was in again this morning for treatment, and will be in again with the rest of the squad.

There was not a big bust up, Defoe had a late fitness test and if he hadn't of passed then Keane would of played-just a few words said, nothing major. Defoe likely to be fit Weds.

No offers have come in yet either for him, future will be decided dependent on the result Weds. This also applies for striker coming in.

It's always made sense that some major deals will have to wait for confirmation of our Champs Lge. What choice do we have? It makes such a difference to income as well as status.

Even if we qualify I don't expect more than a couple to come, and don't want more than that anyway. Settled core of players will serve us better than trying to be Man City on the cheap.

I wonder what striker POTL could be refering too if we win weds. We've been linked with Fabiano a lot lately, but it's gone aweful quiet on the likes of Dzeko and Suarez. It wouldn't surprise me if we spend big on one of these players if we get CL footy. More specifically Dzeko, who wouldn't be cup tied.

I just have this feeling that we're going to break our transfer record if we win on weds.

My concern re Fabiano is his strength. He's quite a slight lad and I'm worried about his ability to play up top alone in the PL.

I actually find this contradicting info quite reassuring in a strange way.

Firstly it would suggest that both ITks are discussing the same incident, which implies that whether the accounts differ or not, at least it makes their general ITK info more reliable.

Secondly, it is a timely reminder that regardless of the source, regardless of the info, these are still comments coming from individuals with their own perspectives, interpretations, personal interests and possible hidden motives.

This isn't criticising the ITK, it's just remembering that opinions are rarely impartial, and if info is being passed down through various sources, inevitably the reality of the situation will be distorted slightly.

Have you seen his goal scoring record? He plays on his own up front for Brazil and they're pretty good. :shrug:

Fabiano would be our best signing in years.
