In a perfect world we would like to offload players before getting players in but you have to have many irons in the fire all the time or you will simply miss out.

The Harry trial comment is irrelevant too. They are more concerned about him joining England than the trial.

yes, I've said this for a bit now too. It only makes sense that Levy would bide his time. Why buy a player for a manager who then ends up in jail. And since there is some chatter that Harry might be in trouble, I think its easy to just wait. Yes getting in players before camp is good, but mid July is a fine time to buy players. It's also good for blackberries.

And I do believe that we will return to a DoF once Harry moves on, but Levy can't do it now because Harry would be undermined if there is no issues legally. We need him happy and focused this year.

Especially when it's people like Parker and Forlan I would imagine. Last thing you want is using up vast sums of unrecoverable cash into players that the new man won't want.

I wasn't having a go at anyone in particular, and certainly not at you rawhide (nice name btw). I've had a laugh at Brett's expense, but only light-heartedly. The guy is a decent enough poster, with a strong view. Fair enough.
