Need Lamela signed. Will be up shit Creek without him. We look solid but have no one to break down teams and feed soldado

I still don't buy the fact we didn't know about Chelsea's interest.

You cant tell me that we had him in the office ready to sign then all of a sudden Kia's mobile goes off and it's Roman on the other end.

That shit is reserved for Harchester United.

Jerry Block would have hunted Roman down and cracked his head open with a bottle of Smirnoff!

Who would of thought that this transfer window we would get so much done and yet still despair about losing a player we never had a shot at a week or two ago. Crazy shit this summer. :ROFLMAO:

a chain of thought will be, the deal wasn't concluded quick enough from initial interest to agreeing fee to concluding medical and signature allowing us to get fucked - can see it coming
oh for sure - i know!!!!! Fact is Willian has to sign the piece of paper - not much can be done to forcibly make him do that bar offering stupid stupid wages and i for one am glad we havent. Get Lamela in now, never deal with Kia again.

So unbelievably untrue, sorry.

Eriksen's very good but hasn't quite become the player his early promise indicated he might.
The media over here stopped labeling him as the next big hope a while ago anyway. He's not the 'next Laudrup' anymore. I think they've whacked that burden on some other kid now...

I'm just really angry right now, I wanted Willian and didn't expect for him to be such a bellend about it, I mean who does this! I hope Sandro and Capoue double team him next time we play Chelski and end his career.

Would have loved him at WHL but he is clearly one of footballs mercenaries. If he doesn't want to play for chicken badge we are better off without him. Move on.

We should have been wary about Willian to begin with. A player doesn't go to Ahnzi if he's not in it for the money.

If, as rumoured, we were to be paying him £85k p/w then that's far too much for a player who is not world class.

Let's just pick ourselves up and dust ourselves down, this has happened to us before and we've usually come up trumps in the end.

Positive thing is, this wasn't a deadline day miss.

We're doing the biz early, and now we've still got time to identify our next target.

Losing out on Willian at this late of a stage, to a rival no less, is a big blow. We shouldn't sugarcoat it after the fact. He is highly talented and a perfect fit for us. Beyond that, our manager really wanted him, and he deserves to have at least one player he highly covets for his incredible loyalty in turning down PSG to stay with us.

We legitimately could've pushed for the title if we had brought in Willian, Lamela, and Coentrao, with only Bale leaving. That was completely feasible and even likely, 48 hours ago (and it would've only cost a net spend of around 10 million pounds to build the team this summer!).

Again, as I've said numerous times already, the number of alternatives are very limited in the market for many reasons. So those of you who keeps saying "oh well, Baldini will just find us someone else" need to realize that the number of high level attacking midfielders that are for sale, willing to move to us, and that we can do a deal for in one week is limited. Eriksen and that's about it.

I cant believe people equate Siggy as good as Eriksen..... I seen enough of Siggy to ship him out. Sorry to say so but Siggy is mid table quality.

For instance, Gylfi scored 7 in 18 appearances for Swansea. 9 in 29 in the Bundesliga when he was 20. I don't believe he is good enough for top 4 but i think he is comparable to Eriksen who has similar stats albeit a bit better in terms of assists in a weak league and who also hasnt cut it on the International stage.
