With respect, do you think that your contribution to this forum could really have outweighed Kia Joorabchian's attempts at pimping his prized asset around town? Mourinho suggests that we should keep our medicals secret, but I'd love to see a list of Kia's outgoing calls when that medical was taking place. We had zero chance of keeping that medical secret.

The ITK forum needs people to post ITK and you've done stellar work in the last few days. I hope you continue to do so.

The difficulty I have is a fan accusing a director of such a thing; unless you happen to be a director of a listed company.

Agree. Nothing to do Happy or anyone else on this forum. Abramovich can do what he likes any time he wants to because money talks, unfortunately. Stealing Willian from under AVB's nose at the last moment was a glove thrown down at AVB. Let's see what happens. I think AVB will be even more determined to show his old mentor a thing or two over the next few months, don't you?

Pretty sure the press would notice Willian flying into London and traveling to our offices. Not to mention that Kia would've (not "would of," btw) made sure everyone knew so other clubs could bid.

Is there an advantage to us doing medicals before signing contracts? It's just that in my yoof transfers seemed to always be "subject to medical", i.e. everything was signed and legal unless the player failed the medical and the contracts would then be voided.

I'm not blaming the club for doing it a different way just wondering how common it is and what potential advantages it would give us, if any.

Soldado, Capoue and Chadli were all announced 'subject to medical' so I think that's our default MO. just think the whole Willian and Lamela is heavily linked to Bale deal hence why things might have been back to front. The question now is WhSt of the Bale deal?

In my religion, we've a rule if you give a word about deal, then it's done*, can't be cancelled unless the 2nd part agreed to cancel.
