When he forces his way into the team and becomes one of the top goalkeepers in the world he'll use these comments when giving an interview to the Sun while trying to force a move and you'll all look very silly.
So true, Dougal!
But until then.... ;-)

This story is on the third tier of news on BBC's football page. It's even below Walker-Peters' contract signing, which was on there this morning. Guess that puts the SCBC's reserve 'keeper joining us as - what? - third choice into perspective.

I just read through the last 3 pages of this thread.

All I can say is... It's GazzANiga, not just Gazzinga guys!

Please don't turn him into the next Eriksen.

I don't understand why some have to slate a player when he's just signed for us.:(
FFS let him get through the door first and actually play badly before all the negativity.

I have no doubt that we will never see him in a Spurs shirt. I mean playing - before someone posts his announcement pictures!

Some people are too precious. I took the reaction as a bit of fun, no one attacking the bloke personally. Turn your sarcasm detector off and it's actually quite positive. I'm sure everyone wishes him well, and will fully support him if he does indeed get on the pitch at some point.

He's basically an assistant to Toni Jimenez on the training pitch, never going to be getting everyone in here reaching for the tissues (which is quite a feat as it doesn't take much!).

Welcome Paulo. We like to joke about him being an underwhelming signing, but as long as he's a Spur, he'll get my support.

So as this was clearly (well probably) a signing at the recommendation of Poch, then we are all going to call out the guy as shite and question our manager's judgement? Shame for the guy to be in this position right from the get go.

I posted this weeks ago that this poor bugger is going to get stick just for being the first signing completed, if we'd bought three or four already he'd have got a good welcome.

Welcome Paul Gazza. I remember watching your namesake smash a belter of a free-kick in at Wembley.

If you end up being the Argentinian Chilavert and doing the same thing, I'll like you just fine.

Welcome.

COYS.

The thing is he will probably never play! The transfer window is like Xmas where we wait to see what Father Levy Xmas has brought us. We just wanted a better present...
