If spurs bought top quality in all positions on a regular basis then it shouldn’t matter who the manager is as players would be good enough. I don’t buy into conte needs conte players or next manager needs his players. If we buy quality to start with then new manager may only require the odd big signing to make their system work.

Where has he said that recently? In every press conference it appears very clear he intends to stay and build the squad. Other people have said he might leave but Conte hasn't. I think you just see what you want to see don't you mate like so many others in here.

Much rather him as RCB back-up than Sanchez, although he hasn't progressed as well as he was expected to a couple of seasons ago unfortunately.

Wolfsburg look much better since he's out of the team and they play with Bornauw and van de Ven.
They kept 4 clean sheets in 6 games.
I expected more from him 2 years ago to be honest. But he's still young, so maybe one for the future. I don't think he is what we need right now.

I watched a fair bit of Lacroix a couple of seasons ago when he was very good. He's more of a RCB, could potentially play CCB in a back 3. Pretty quick and good on the ball but not amazing aerially.
His form has dropped off a cliff the past season or so and I don't know why. I haven't watched him in recent times but I'm not sure I'd sign him at the moment. Bringing in a young CB who has lost form and putting him in to our unstable defensive environment is a recipe for disaster.
