I very rarely get to hear anything, but I have been told that he would be interested in speaking to us. We have made no approach (that I am aware of) but if the offer was right he would consider it. A certain player of ours has been "selling" THFC to him.

Who is he referring to?

Gylfi would be great signing, cheap, and great set piece taker which we desperately need!

Don't know where it came from, ITK or media, or whether its true or not, but it was reported that when Chelsea got shot, there was a clause put in place by Chelsea that he couldn't talk or join another Premiership club until 30th June.

I wasn't directing anything at you Beni, i just find it hard to believe Chelsea would really care where or when AVB manages again.

Was in reference to Huntelaar

Cue Dan having an apoplectic fit. There's only one player that Dan rates less that Defoe and that's Huntelaar. Personally, I'd love to see us sign Huntelaar (....and not just because it will piss off Dan)

I just wonder why every club that buys huntelaar moves him on fairly quickly? He too sluggish for the premiership IMO- good shot- like a better shooting pavluychenko with a hangover

Huntelaar would score for fun in the premiership IMHO

As has been seen with Ba and Cisse the Bundesliga is probably the foreign league closest to ours and he is a goal machine out there

Anyone who buys Huntelaar in England would get 25 goals a season out of him I think

The guy is a natural goalscorer - 37 goals in 56 appearances for Schalke, 31 in 56 appearances for the national side.

Admittedly he lacks pace but he is far better than Pav.

Or why the fans at every club he's ever played for have always derided him.

I nip out to my garden for an hour to repair a couple of fence panels, only to discover on my return that the Dutch press is reporting Vert's transfer is about to collapse, Spain's media reports Modric is off to Real Madrid and now some Portugese hack reckons AVB has never even heard of a football club called Tottenham Hotspur.

whenever ive seen huntelaar, hes always flattered to decieve. Ive never seen him have a good game and he reminds me of a laboured pav. Not 100% sure he'd fit in the prem. That said, ive never seen ibrahimovic have a good game either so what the heck do i know :)
