But you have to be clear in separating the opinion from the actual info - his last two posts read more like opinion/what he wants to happen rather than 'this is actually happening'

Been around for years. I think he’s a resident ItK on another forum, COYs perhaps. Has/had very good info. That’s why he’s quoted here.

Whilst I appreciate the optimism from Val, I can't see Lucas going this window or next. He has one year left and there was an interview where he said he wanted to see out his contract then go back to play for São Paulo. I would imagine this might be his plan for next summer?

I get the funny feeling this is going to happen to them a lot. Agents and players will want to rinse them.

You're not moving up to Newcastle for the weather, cuisine or culture either, it's cold hard cash from rich Arabs that will attract some players, plain and simple.

Works out just under 120m.

Then also potentially swap either of those with :

- Lucas 20m
- Sanchez 20m
- Loan fee for Gil or potentially even sell him for 20-25m with a fat sell on or buy back.
- Tanganga 15m


I think we could generate 100m fairly easily tbh. A lot of those players are half decent.

Yeah, I honestly think we can easily pay for Bissouma (25m), Raphinha (60-65m), and Spence(15-20m) with just outgoings and still have money leftover. For me, it gets interesting when thinking about the plans with that 150m and if we plan on putting that into the squad right away.

Interview with Romano. I've translated pertinent bit:

on Tottenham's transfer targets in central defence:

"It will depend on the price. I can tell you that one of the players they have been watching for a long time is Mohamed Simakan from RB Leipzig. Another player they value a lot is (Josko) Gvardiol. Those are two players they really like, but it depends on the price. We know how difficult it is to negotiate with Leipzig.

In terms of top targets: Pau Torres was close to moving to Tottenham a year ago. This summer it could happen, depending on the negotiations with Giovani Lo Celso. But so far there is nothing concrete. We heard rumours about a possible move for Pau Torres a few days or weeks ago, but nothing is in sight at the moment.

Bastoni was a top target, but he remains at Inter. (Milan) Škriniar would have the option to leave. Maybe to move to PSG, who are ahead at the moment. But Bastoni is a really complicated matter....

I'm sure Tottenham will bring in a centre-back because Antonio Conte is desperate for one. For the moment, you have to keep an eye on RB Leipzig's Akkteure. But they are not easy to negotiate with. I wouldn't be surprised if Fabio Paratici (Tottenham's sporting director) pulls a surprise out of the hat, because he's up to all sorts of things."

Edit he also mentions eriksen but nothing new, as well as raphinha but no new info and says interest in jesus but know he wants to be the main man so probably won't follow it up

No real point of selling him for that. We got him for £11m so if he does well next season on loan, you get £20m from that club if they stay up or a potential bidding war or you bring him back for more game time.
