Well.......what a day yesterday was. And not all of it ITK. It was a day of ITK, hissy fits, lynch mobs and Fazzagate.

We'll concentrate on the ITK however and CM got us off to a flier when he posted this.........
Naughton is in negotiations with a number of championship clubs regarding a loan move away. Middlesbrough are his most likely destination but we want to loan him to a premiership club to get some experience of the premier league.

Walker is more likely to stay with us this year as the club rate him more then Naughton however with Gallas in he may also leave on loan with west ham and many others interested.

Pompey and Newcastle have enquired about Danny Rose on loan for the season however Harry wont sanction any deal unless he can get Young or Arda Turan.

Also been told nothing will happen regarding Fabiano untill after Sevilla's game with Braga and our game against Young Boys!

A Transfer Window wouldn't be the same without some good old fashioned Darren Bent ITK......

Passed on to Belgian Brownie to post:For what it's worth....

Text says he's heard Hleb mentioned and we are well down the road with Fabiano.

No idea if it's his usual source or not
What? It isn't Darren Bent ITK? Get away!

adiepf returned from walking his pooch last night........and posted this for the assembled ITKlings

tottenham hotspur have agreed terms with sevilla for the transfer of luis fabiano, fabiano will play his last game for sevilla tomoz & fly to london soon after to complete his medical & sign a deal (dont know length)....was told contract terms are a "formaility" which is great news....

interesting that im told (in 3rd person)an agreement similar to that which we had with lazio for gazza is in place where even if fabiano is injured tomoz a reduced figure will be paid by us....he was our only striker target hence harry saying he wanted players that would make a big difference (title challenge) that wouldnt cost much....step forward luis faniano for around £12m....snip im sure youll agree?

source knows nothing of hleb.....

keane wants celtic full stop & will end up there....we have bid again for parker, money plus o`hara...this is not looking good but o`hara may go there anyway...

middlesboro want cuducini & he held talks with them over the weekend(shocked me that) & naughton on loan

thats all i can say, there is other stuff but it would point towards the source so im gonna resist

im sure you understand
The excitement is building.........

This was also posted late last night......
Does anyone else think 'ITK' has a dominoes effect?
Damn right it does. Nothing like reading the ITK whilst munching on some Pizza........

Then, groundbreaking stuff was posted over on COYS.......

I tell you what, i think this is going to be one hell of a last week for us in the transfer window. it definitely on lads and ryanteagen is spot on with the Pienaar info, i cant wait

In other news, my wife has been taking golf lessons. She had just started playing her first round of golf when she suffered a bee sting. The pain was so intense that she decided to return to the clubhouse.
Her golf pro saw her come into the clubhouse and asked, "Why back in so early? What's wrong?"
"I was stung by a bee." "Where?" he asked. "Between the first and second hole" she replied.
He nodded knowingly and said, "Then your stance is too wide."

And finally..........

For those of you who have recently had crappy exam results, just remember that:
1. You tried your hardest
and
2. I'll have a plain double cheeseburger meal please.

Don't worry BBLG...Corrie is actually more entertaining.

The Fabiano stuff is interesting. I'd be surprised to see us sign someone potentially cup tied for the CL but it would be good to see us being sensible and focusing on the team in general rather than just one competition.

Seems the ITKs are moving together into a pack. If POTL claims Fabiano is close, then I reckon we can start inking the stamp.

I just saw the ackie ITK. Looks interesting. Another Frenchy is probably Diarra, that seems to have gathered steam, and Fabiano being ours seems to be the general consensus (will definitely be watching Sevilla tonight).

As for the other striker, I reckon, just as a hunch, that it would be Can't Control. I can't imagine Harry shipping our two premiership proven strikers and replacing them with two strikers with no premiership experience. I'd prefer Huntelaar to Cole personally, but that's my hunch anyway.

As for the Van, I'd love Van der Vaart instead of some of the other tippy tappies we've been linked to (though I'm still not convinced we need one at all, but at least he scores goals), but I can't see it being him. I can imagine, based on the fact that Corluka, brilliant though I think he is, has been below par (as usual at the start of the season it seems), us going for van der Wiel. This is also based on the fact that as you know, you can never have too many right backs ;-)

I wonder who the 2nd striker would be. I wouldn't be surprised if, should we qualify for the CL group stage, we sign another striker who isn't cup tied. Huntelaar seems the most likely, but wouldn't be an ideal partner for Fabiano imo. Unless we make a move for Cardozo who seems like the ideal number 9.

Not sure what to think about Pienaar. I wouldn't mind him, but I don't think we really need him. But then again, the more quality players the better.

not sure on ryantegan's info on Pienaar but BBC Gossip says Crouch swap with Pienaar. Seems fair to me

It's Arsenal who are supposedly signing 'a Van'

I think the 'van' remark was referring to a possible Arsenal signing.

There is seemingly too much Fabiano links for it not to be true in some way. Just want to see it on the OS though as nothing is quite as straight forward as it seems. Disapointed that he will be cup-tied for the CL, but it's possible that we are also looking at another striker (KJH?) that can play in the CL and is an upgrade on what we have. I'd also like Diarra as it could release Modric to play a bit more forward when we go 4-5-1.

Ah ok, I misread, sorry (damn lack of an edit).

Well they've been linked to both the vans I mentioned.

Where would Harry play Pienaar? Not convinced of this. Nothing wrong with our midfield in my opinion, although I'll take Diarra thankyou very much.

Not sure but most likely in a 5 man midfield. Considering our midfield numbers I'm assuming we have a few to sell/ loan

I don't think Klaas Jan Huntelaar is the second striker. It wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to sign another finisher if we signed Fabiano who is essentially exactly that (and having Defoe and Pav already we would end up with only finishers of varying abilities).

I think it will be a loan.

I think it will only be after CL.

I think it will shock almost everyone.

Oh and as for Diarra even this morning I still don't get it. Not one bit. I don't think he is that much of an upgrade and he has this mentality where he keeps moving to get regular football rather than actually knuckling down and trying to force his way into the team. If he really wanted to make it at Chelsea, Arsenal or Madrid he could have stuck at it. Most players play their whole careers for a chance to be at a club like that and he has given up the fight every time.

He left Chelsea on a free because he didn't prove to them that he was worth keeping. He left Arsenal after 6 months because he was in a battle with Flamini for first team football...seriously?! I mean Flamini is good but you have to think Diarra would have put up a bit more of a fight considering that Arsenal had a lack of anything else resembling a DM. Wenger was even happy to let him go and considering he was young and French that has to tell you something.

I think he has very questionable character and again if we are going to bring in a midfielder I would rather take a less talented one with a better attitude not someone who will duck out of the challenge if it isn't all laid out on a plate for him. When the going get's tough Diarra goes running and he'd probably want a first team guarentee with us and that would annoy me.
