Sexy ITK from Herc. Great to hear we are trying for this kind of quality, but I can't see us actually pulling it off, especially the RM player. Hope I'm wrong of course, but these things never seem to fall in our favour...

Let's hope that Poch has conversations that lead us to believe they want to come.

Id love that itk to come true but i think it all probably depends on outgoings.

Agree. I know we've had ITK to the contrary but my gut feeling is we still have to sell to buy. Dembele sale has brought some money in but we probably need to move on Janssen and N'Koudou this window to. In terms of price, Rabiot is realistic seeing as his contract is up in the summer but I'm not convinced we will be able to get over other hurdles with that one and that's backed up by Herc doubting it will happen and JJ also saying it's not a go'er.

The loan from Madrid I'm assuming refers to Isco but the chances of that happening are at best remote.

Thanks for the info. Seems like big deals to get done considering it’s January

If we somehow pulled of (in a none sexual way) Isco and Rabiot I would be gobsmacked. I can see someone else offering more wages for Rabiot and RM not wanting to loose Isco as back up. I also don't think Isco really wants to come to us, but that's obviously a complete guess based on supposed past dealings.

I think both are very, very slim chances. If at all.

I’d be surprised to get one, let alone both

Rabiot & Isco would be an absolute dream, but I am not falling for it.
We were meant to have 150m to spend in the summer for example, just positive PR coming from the club I suspect.

Poch and recent ITK said we need to trim the foreign players in the squad before we can bring in any other foreign players. Since Foyth will take Dembele's CL spot his departure doesn't seem to have counted. What i'm saying is I can't see us shifting two pieces of deadwood before the deadline. Even if we wanted to, it would be difficult to bring in one never mind two in without managing to get these players off our books.

We failed miserably to shift them last summer so can't see anything changing as it doesn't seem like we're prepared to leave out Vorm or rip up his contract, and we don't seem to be too keen to just loan players paying most of their wages to get them out of the squad.

We have to take a bit of a risk if it gets to the deadline imo as we can't miss out on class players. If we can't shift anyone, i'd leave two of Llorente, Wanyama and Vorm out of the CL squad to bring a couple in.

Ok so the assumption is that because we’ve had interest in Isco before that he is likely to be the RM player we’re interested in ?

Yep, It’s a not so cryptic one (obvious). The idea of getting Isco on loan and Rabiot this window would be something else but I’d imagine even just getting one would be one hell of an achievement by the club.

ITk said there might be movement out next week, even if it’s just to loan out a few players that hopefully should be good enough. Chances are last summer we priced them to high, at the right price any of our players are loan/sellable.
