Hey, I offered £20 and a fluid sample to the Grealish fund.
If you did that for Grealish, then I shudder at what you did to Rabiot's Mum
It's your fault plain and simple.

This thread has a motto and its this: Ah well (sigh)
If you haven't used it yet, feel free to fill your boots when the window has closed.
Ten Million won't even get a half decent championship striker in this market. It's peanuts for the PL right now. Ultimately though the bigger issue is Janssen hasn't proven his fitness. I don't know why we would be scared of a loan, if he does alright it will up his value. N'koudou on the other hand is clearly a half decent player and there should ready be a bigger market for him.Is it? If you were a fan of another Premier League team and you were getting Janssen for £10m, would you be happy with it? Or would you suggest that it'd be better to take a punt on a player who hadn't already tried and failed to make an impact at this level?
What do you see yourself as?

I'm puzzled as well. Sounded from the ITK (herc update) that teams were reluctant to make perm offers for some of our outs but why wouldn't lower prem teams want to snaffle Janssen and GKN? Seems odd, they could provide some on field assistance and certainly could be moved on for a small profit in a year or two.Ten Million won't even get a half decent championship striker in this market. Worth repeating again, and again! There is money. We can speculate to our hearts content. It is not about we like it or not, on how much. It is, as it is! Club desperate to add couple players ‘within our budget’. That may well be a well spun PR-Stunt, problem is Poch not liking what has been offered. And I personally believe they would improve us. Trix made a perfect comment ‘Poch is being AVB-esque’ in his choices (unrealistic for many reasons).
He is therefore sticking rather than twisting. Something certainly have to give. He pushed very hard for VJ, that one was all his choice, I said at the time it was a very bad choice, and cited the reasons. I think the scouting we have put forward excellent recommendations, but he just is not having it at present.
He personally spoke again to two players, who we know about already. But! They are not realistic signings. I do not agree on how DL dithers over transfers. But this one is not down to him. Whatever the budget is, that is what the budget is. This is why I commented a while back that there is interesting times ahead both for club and management.

Most realistic outcome I see from this:Worth repeating again, and again! There is money. We can speculate to our hearts content. It is not about we like it or not, on how much. It is, as it is! So it sounds like our 4-man transfer team really comes down to: the other 3 can recommend players, but Poch has final say on who we bring in. Not necessarily a majority vote to bring someone in (if 3 say yes and Poch says no it's still a no).Worth repeating again, and again! There is money. We can speculate to our hearts content. Levy doesn't cave to what? Most realistic outcome I see from this:
Levy doesn’t cave and we get no one. We struggle to finish the season well due to a lack of depth. Poch’s team criticizes Levy over his not being backed. He goes to United. The media side with Poch as Levy has a history of transfer failures. The club looks like shit.
You've forgotten the final step: Poch has the final say on who he wants, then Levy says they're far too expensive. So it sounds like our 4-man transfer team really comes down to: the other 3 can recommend players, but Poch has final say on who we bring in. Getting the unrealistic players that Poch wants, just as he did with AVB.Levy doesn't cave to what?
