Yeah the way Trix mentioned "different paths" and needing to be careful about his wording makes me think it's something bigger.

Richarlison is a well know target so no need to be secretive about it.

I think its more that a top defender may now be available that wasnt before. So Richarlison (with Winks/Dele clauses tied in) may not cost the world so we can spend the rest on a LCB.

Maybe Inter cant flog Skriniar as planned or maybe the sudden Gvardiol report may hold some weight.

Honestly, do not get dissatisfied and disappointed on the alleged missed opportunities you are seeing reported. I am extremely confident the majority will be overly very happy with our further acquisitions.

We are not being bullied by anyone. Where we once was used by clubs and agents to further their agendas, to a point the shoe is firmly sitting on the other foot.

We have possibly not finished with Italy either. As they are throwing all sorts of proposals to us, as they are in essence strapped for liquid cash. I do not want to say too much. Conté is happy, and Fabio is proving himself with Daniel working in his strong area on financials so we don’t get shafted. To make it clearer, deals agreed and then the pay structure etc is negotiated with Daniel and his team.

I expect 2-3 before travelling out on 10th July.

I'd love it but it's times like this where I miss the 'optimistic' rating!

Very happy with the positive vibes coming out. Hercs Italy info re liquid funds especially interesting after the £100m draw down.

I had a feeling this would happen re Paratici in Italy especially after it came out in the press we made 100mil available. I’m sure it’s somewhat like being in a bazar with sellers bombarding us with deals. Pretty clever move by us making it known about the funds. As much as it may make deals like Raphinha more difficult due to their lack of interest in selling, im sure there are many clubs strapped for cash hoping our money will go into their pockets. This will only encourage selling teams to offer better players at better terms. It’s just a shame that Skriniar looks set for PSG as I was quietly half expecting them to come back to us with ether Lautaro or Bastoni. Still, good to hear we are making the rules now.
