He was first linked 25th May. 8 days ago. The transfer window isn't even open yet

Too long? It's not two weeks since our last game of the season, six days since the official end of the season, I only heard of Bastoni a week ago and he played in the world champions game last night so I think it's a bit premature to say it's gone on too long.

It's 2nd June. The window isn't even open and he's busy with internationals..

Cheers for passing on. That all sounds about right doesn’t it. Early days in the window so one’s harder to shift aren’t exactly going to be in demand.

Personally I hope Jose Mourinho takes him on loan to Roma. Probably not.

I'll worry about outgoings if they're still at the club in August. Way too early to panic about anything transfer related.

The issue is that we have a deadwood pile sky high and nobody wants them. Same every year. So we wait and wait to clear out, obscuring our incoming biz.

I can't help but think we're stuck with Ndombele and he'll just spend a few more seasons being mediocre on loan around Europe until he leaves for free at the end of his contract.

If that happened I really do think he's a contender for worst British transfer of all time.

Really feel like it’ll be Pau Torres we end up with as the new LCB if Bastoni doesn’t go through. The swap with that low GLC bid makes too much sense. Gvardiol I think turns out to be too expensive with no leverage to use on Leipzig.

That said I am hopeful on Bastoni who looks to be the top target. Inter need to sell one of him and Martinez for sure and reportedly have huge money on the table from us, as well as competition for Bremer. He’ll end up being pushed imo.
