Just excellent excecution if this goes through. Perisic must command a high wage, and he will not be an investment in the future, but he instantly improves our first 11 and leaves funds for other positions.

Is this the current picture on our target positions for the window, I believe Trix or Herc posted something a while ago? Of course bearing in mind that it will be a fluid target depending on which players can cover which positions and outgoings.

No great surprise, I suspect he was relatively easy to trace back to the club so probably didn't need all the attention. Fun times though

If we get Perisic, Forster, Eriksen and Spence, that's four required positions filled. With an average cash outlay of £5-10m each (?) after signing-on fees, agents, and whatnot?

Then you still have almost all the Enic investment, UCL money, AND outgoing sales. All for a CB and a forward.

Tbh it feels like we could have managed fairly well even without the Enic cash. It's not like club would struggle with financing, cashflow or obtaining cheap credit. And the above list seems well within scope if the club's past transfer activity is a guide.

I think Bastoni is all we need for now personally.

I assumed it was both Bastoni and Perisic due to the two thumbs up, and them both obviously coming over from Italy

We seem to finally have a proper roadmap for what we want to achieve, reminds me of Contes original quote:
