He did a similar "two thumbs up" post that was presumed to be about Perisic and Bastoni last week I believe.

He's just saying we're already working on the next deal, that's it. It's not player specific, there's no more information you'll be able to gleam other than you can look forward to more good news down the line as we're not resting on our laurels.

The positivity is scary. I’m simply not used to it.

when I worked in the banks (kinda still do) we used to get prepped to get deals in line for spurs to hit go. You wouldn’t prepare the deal (costs with lawyers and banks) unless you think you have a chance. But looking back it felt late in the day speculative bidding.
This…where we are signing smart, not messing around - and have a chance at top tier targets. It feels alien to me as a fan.
But by god I love it. I shall celebrate the ITks and not vent personal frustration at individuals when the lows come in. Thanks herc and trix for their updates and opinions.

big Ivan today. Fraser soon - and then I hope one of our listed CBs.

Seems like Ally Gold has said that we're unlikely to see any Forster announcement until July, due to his Southampton contract being until 30th June. I assume that it's bad form to otherwise "announce" such things between PL clubs or some such.

Interesting. It's much better to wait a month when everyone already knows the deal. A true gentlemen's agreement.

Ally latest video.

  • Perišić number is not finalized and would wait for a bit. Most likely #14 which is occupied by Rodon who is looking to move on this summer.
  • Bastoni's deal is purely dependent on him wanting to leave Italy and his team, rest of the deal(fees + wages) should be fine from our point of view. We will wait for him to get a final answer and then start to negotiate replacements like Gvardiol, Torres and few more names on the list.
  • Open to selling Reguilon if a decent offer arrives.
  • Will push for Spence, if successful Emerson is likely to leave. Conte changes his tactics to accommodate Emerson and gives him more defensive duties, ideally he want both his wingbacks to be attacking.
  • Probably will bring in a new CB(in addition to LCB) as one of the center backs is likely to leave(most likely Rodon). Not sure a loan or permanent. Tanganga could be that too.
  • Looking at "forward thinking midfielder". Eriksen possible. Really like JWP. Paratici adores McKennie(talked to reps in January).
  • If Bergwin leaves, will look for a winger.
  • Atleast 6 new faces Conte wants, potentially could be more.

Interesting that if Bergwijn leaves we'll look for a replacement. It must mean he's not keen on Gil still.

This all sounds great but no mention of a player who can step into the Kane role if he goes down with an injury. Hopefully that's just an oversight, on AG's part.

Sounds good, just hoping we bring in a forward (ideally a CF) too

No word of a forward? Interesting.
