No no, he really did. Diarra was bad tonight. You managed to watch both the Real game and the West Ham v. Birmingham game tonight? They were on at the same time.

It wasn't completely wrong BC. He has never been consistent in a side ever. Regardless of whether Wenger wanted to keep him or not, he was being kept out of the side and didn't have the balls to fight for his place. I never once mentioned that Wenger didn't want to keep him, I just questioned Diarra's ability to command a place in a side and consistently perform.

If you are going to call me out on something I said BC at least get it right. I am wrong often so it shouldn't be so hard to do.

watched up to 70 min of Seville, watched from about 35th minute of Bham. Sky+ is a beautiful thing.

To be honest, I didn't even think Benzema played that well, scored a decent goal but didn't do a whole lot else. Diarra was lucky not to get a couple of bookings, particularly for the late in the first half.

I think Ferguson has got everything that Parkers got, but passes the ball much better.

Quite Honestly if all this info is correct then Levy and 'Arry need shooting.

How on earth can you not really know who your main target for a striker is by now, Levy is meant to be a very clever businessman so surely this would go against every thing he stands for.

We have know for ages we need a WC Striker so why is it we don't start doing the dirty work until January?

Fairly sure City had Dzeko all sort long before the window was open and just needed to cross the t's etc

Think our management has been very poor if we are still juggling 4 or 5 strikers around and not closed one deal yet Christ there is now less than 5 days left

they missed out on dzeko in the summer when his buy out clause expired and thought the price would drop but wolfsburg held firm. their situation changed as they have done shit this season and couldn't hold onto him in january. some itk have said we bid for him but couldn't compete with citys financial package to the player

One of these days you'll learn what a lemming is.

I bet you £1000, we won't win a championship with Dopey, Doughnut and dimwit in our side at the same time playing 25 full games a each.

Put you money where your mouth is unless your scared of finding out what the word lose means ?

There you go big man, you did it

Betting someone on a forum....£1000. You really are funny aren't you.

No way would I take that bet, for what it's worth I agree.

Ah, right. So in other words it activates a contractual term.

But you'd think an informal request amounts to the same thing anyway and simply removing the fact that it is in writing is splitting hairs.

Oh absolutely, it amounts to the exact same thing in fact, but if it ended up in court (speaking very hypothetically here) it would be hard to prove that X said such and such at this time. Of course, this is unlikely to be an issue,

Sounds like a question we should consult a lawyer over?

:hello:

I have a funny feeling we are gonna be shafted again by not having a clear definite target.
We have just set ourselves up for a fall by not being clear and concise in our targets. Playing Players and clubs off each other.

Why do we make it difficult for ourselves?

I hope we pull something out the bag again but my optimism is wavering.

God is this how Gooner fans have felt for 4+ years for not replacing Henry? Damn!

Yes, Diarra's timing on his tackling was really poor, he was rash and was lucky to stay on the pitch.

I stand by what I said, I don't think he is for us. We lack real drive and will to win in the middle but we have a load of talent. He hasn't shown at any time that he is someone that I think we could count on.

I don't want Parker either incidentally.

Soon enough you'll all come around to a Parker way of thinking.

Soon enough...

Not denying that City would have blown us out the water either last Summer (when they were sniffing round too) or this window, its the fact that they had done much of the hard graft prior to the beginning of the window so when it opened it just needed little work to complete the deal.

Whereas we just seem to stumble along not really knowing what or who we are after and would seem even Levy and 'Arry don't agree on targets

Why every bloody window does this seem to happen?

Oh, I don't know. There would be plenty of witnesses to justofy a witness statement and if litigation ensued then the relationship between the parties would have clearly broken down given rise to the likelihood that on the balance of probablilities a request for an transfer was indeed made orally and thus a judge would be invited to find on that basis.

I think KY was attempting a dig at me.
