Actually I think the most interesting bit of news is that Gylfi is on his way to us, over Liverpool and the manager he enjoys playing for. The deal seems to have been done extremely quickly, I assume he knows who the new manager is and would rather work with him as I can't see us offering that much more in wages than Liverpool. That makes me think it's someone other than AVB....

I don't understand the AVB or Sturridge part. Wasn't AVB who played Sturridge the most ? Wasn't during AVB time that Sturridge was the most potent threat at chelsea ?
