Harry hardly had a distinguished career pre spurs, plodded along with Bournemouth, got west ham relegated, plodded along with Southampton and win a cup with Pompey and look what he achieved at spurs

If AVB was a flop at Chelsea and not good enough for us what would that have made Harry before he got the spurs gig? the same Harry that turned into one of our most successful managers ever in terms of win/points per game

harry had 30 years of dealing with players , great man manager who had players playing for him the majority of the time. he had alot of managers give him great credit withing the game plus he knew a decent player when he saw and for all his faults he can always put a decent team together. Imo if a manager can see a player thats almost 95% of the job.

imvho this avb had a great team given to him at porto who were always going to do what they did . his first real break at chelsea and he made an absolute mess of it . dont care what anyone says and jj confirmed it when he said levy would be taking on a huge risk and he is . thats all im saying on the matter. ill give the man a chance and hope he gets lucky. he has no excuses with young athletic players in spurs squad and im sure he will be given luka money too

JJ - you say that the club already knows who the next manager is. Is the next man in charge part of the Sigurdsson approach or is that independent of him?

Public Internet forum mate!!

Appreciate that, but are you able to give a hint at strikers we might get in - from the Premiership class ones (eg Wolves Fletcher) to the Falcao's - are we likely to sign 2 or 3 strikers of the latter calibre ?

AVB, eh?
Daniel Sturridge, nay?
Gilfy Sigurdsson? Hmmm ok...
Jan Verthongen, just pay!
Pep Guardiola, I pray...

What an earth is going on at our club, JJ?

Bit optimistic, we would do extremely well to get in 1 striker of falcaos quality.

imvho this avb had a great team given to him at porto who were always going to do what they did .

They lost 1-0 to Seville in an early Europa League match and 3-2 to Villareal when 5-1 up later on.
Other than that they just won 3 trophies, went unbeaten in the league, scored 17 goals in the europa league qtr/semi finals, won fuckloads of matches, played good football etc etc

But anyone could have done that. And losing those two matches was a clear sign of weakness.
