To give this thread some life, and HY post. Very simple. We fancy our chances. Martial already visited our premises. He is very keen to sign for us. He wants his agents to get his message across to Yanited. He does not fancy Italy. He feels he is being forced to condider elsewhere, aside from us with Yanited. He has refused to discuss further with them. We will pay the fee, and want to get the deal done.
Because of our persistence, it ‘may’ pay off.

Grealish looking closer and closer.
Excellent news

Martial would be fantastic. Would be nice revenge for Berbatov if they end up being railroaded into selling to us by the player. We've had ITK saying Mourinho is cool with it so Woodward may budge eventually if other options are limited.

Wooohooo, some ITK! I've been like a crack addict this transfer window - sat here rocking back and forth waiting for my next fix!

Good news about Martial. Thanks, @Hercules . Would be great to see him in a Spurs shirt.

hertyid on COYS:
"Ask and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you."

Worth noting that he bumped the Martial thread with that post after 6 days of inactivity on it. So I'd safely assume it's ITK, even if it's fairly cryptic.

Happy Birthday for the other day mate!

Signing Martial would be the first of its kind for Spurs since the 80’s. Signing a player from a bigger club who actually wants to come to us (assuming he does), is an important member of their squad and also someone who the fans in the main want to keep. This would be some statement. Yeah it’s not quite like signing a De Gea etc but it’s a step in the right direction for sure. Hoping the itk comes to fruition!

I can't imagine Martial being any bit close personally. United would have to change their seemingly defensive stance regarding him and there hasn't been any sign of that being the case but hey, I would love to be wrong.

Does that mean the revealing of the cryptic wasn't because we'd stopped going after him? Dilly dilly

Hercules, that is perfectly clear, unambiguous and illuminating information, with no hint of a cryptic.

Da fuck we ‘sposed to do with that!

I would love to sign Martial, and I'm not doubting Herc in the slightest, but I just can't believe that it'll happen - it's too good to be true! Grealish I'm much more confident about, and I think that would be an astute purchase with very little risk, albeit not the most exciting signing in the world. I really do hope we're also looking for a top class CM though - lots of press links but very little ITK on that front so far.

Per previous we know this includes, if not a direct reference to, the biggest team in Italy, one of the historically biggest teams in the world, and most of all: the side that knocked us out of the UCL—and he refuses to discuss further bc he wants us.

BE BRAVE, BRING THIS GUY HOME LEVY

(thanks herc)
