If it was not for Pritchard's Spurs connection most would agree with you

Anyone who has watched Brentford this season will realise the potential he has, regardless of their allegiance. And that's form maintained over an entire season, not a couple of decent games in a team where it's easy to look good because everyone else is so shit (bar Benteke).

Pritchard on loan at Villa sounds like a good idea. The boy has potential and a bright future, but beeing asked to deliver for us is something different than beeing the star man for a small club like Brentford.

I really rate Pritchard, but i do feel he is a little overhyped on here. I see many have him in their starting lineups for next season, but i dont think he is quite there yet (i would love to be wrong though). I have seen him quite a few times this season and he is still raw. If he is guaranteed play time under Sherwood, a coach he should know well, im all for him developing further at Villa.

The majority of people said the same of Kane. The boy has ability but the only way we'll know is if he's given games I guess.

Spoke to a Forest fan today. He described Pritchard as the best player in the championship by a country mile.

We'd be made to even pick up the phone to Villa for him

I think he's also at an age where if he's going to make it at Spurs he needs to be pushing for our team now. He's 22. There's more chance of Alli getting a Prem loan I would have thought.

and also makes more sense, this has got to make or break season for pritchard really you would think. otherwise he just becomes a squad player especially when you think how old our starting line up is now not like anyone in spot is getting on. weird because he was the one everyone thought would be first to make it if any out them boys werent he

Plenty of space in our squad for both.

Just need to shift Capoue, Paulinho and Dembele. Considering Capoue's played 18 games this season gone (I know, right?), it'd be easy to give those two game time to alleviate the pressure on Mason/Bentaleb and get a senior MF in.

I'd still like to see Bentaleb further forward, even in a #10 role. I think he has unused qualities.

I think Bentaleb works best arriving from deep, either box to box or holding, as a No 10 role would be a waste of his passing range and he's not the most adept with throughballs but has a wonderful range of passing in space (can even refer to his ball in to Kane for the Arse winner).

I think in this ultra-congested system that we really need a player with the agility and dynamism of Pritchard at the No 10. I think it would be utterly nonsensical to let him go away this summer, even on loan. I think he'll be extremely effective in Poch's system if give the chance, and I would even argue he'll surprise many next season should he remain, based on nothing else than purely how incredibly compatible I believe him to be in this system.

Am I the only one not particularly "wow'd" by Grealish. Don't think anything bad of him but people (not necessarily on here) do seem to be getting carried away. Often think people overhype a player and make out they're good purely for the reason that they're young
I think he's a great little player. Good vision, good football brain, thinks moves ahead and has the game mapped at all times.

Think he'll be excellent if he carries on like he is.

Anyone got this from JJ?

@jetsetyid: Trippier was excellent in my FF team all year - no brainer ;0)
Response was:
@J_Wallace_84: @jetsetyid I had Schneiderlein, so I am using the same rule of thumb here!
To which JJ said:
@jetsetyid: @J_Wallace_84 I bet we get my player whereas yours is dodgy!

Sounds like Trippier is coming but MS is less certain.

I'm just not seeing anything particularly impressive yet. I suppose the competition of the worst hairstyle would be interesting on our left sided players with Grealish's gel-overdose, Rose's red mess and Chadli's pathetic ponytail
