Come on, read between the lines and look beyond the official club position. Redknapp has said countless times that Van Der Vaart didn't fit in to the system he plays and he had to find a position for him, while his comments on deadline day involved more back-tracking, shifting of position and twitching than you could shake a stick at. Levy did the deal for Van Der Vaart and presented it to Redknapp. I'm sure he could have kicked off and tried to reject the player, but let's not be under any illusions over who holds the power in that relationship. Levy is his boss.

Whilst we are talking about the deadline, how about we get the ITK's to get their sources to change the time on the club's fax machine, just to give us an extra 30 mins to fax the FA, u know we'll need it!

Why not get them to change the date instead sounds like we have a lot to ponder maybe cycle back to July 2010 should give us the time we are likely to need... can see it now
