Isco would be a dream but like the ITK says, probably not going to happen.

After selling DiMaria, Real are one injury away from starting Isco and I can't see them letting him go.

I would say it's illaramendi than isco ... If rm don't sign any striker , thn isco will get plenty of game time this season.... cr7 , bale , rodriguez , isco ... whereas with the arrival of kroos , and rm seemingly wants khedira to stay , it's illaramendi who is the obvious one left out

You forgot Jese who will play more games than Isco IMO.

There are fitness and injury doubts over Jese though.

The Madrid fans would lose their shit, if after selling Di Maria they then offload Isco to us and pick up a first team injury with Jese still sidelined....

Illarramendi wouldn't be as sexy as Isco but would be absolutely class in Poch's system

I can't see Madrid loaning him out, makes no sense for them, what experience does he gain from that that he couldn't get in Spain (loads of potential loan takers for him in Spain). And if they were to sell him they'll want to recoup the £34m they paid for him, so that rules us out of that one.

Alonso makes the most sense, given that he knows the PL well and would potentially be up for a return, plus fee wise it's something we would probably entertain (i.e. not tens of millions).

I wouldn't want him on loan though

Loan is always a good start, see Lukaku at Everton. If the Loan goes well then the player is far more inclined to come back on a permanent move if the club wants to try and make that happen.

I think they'll keep Alonso, Khedira, Modric and Kroos for the 2 CM slots which would free up Illarramendi for a loan.

I think it's a lot more likely they'll loan Illarramendi to get some more experience under his belt and playing in the Prem could be seen as a good thing a'la Alonso's time in the Prem.

Soldado to Milan can only be as a loan surely. They're looking to loan Torres and Chelsea have said that they will need to buy him. So they've seemingly come to us to see about the availability of Soldado, but it must be on loan based on how they wanted to get Torres.

Regarding the possible Madrid player coming our way, with Di Maria now at Utd, i can't see Real letting Isco leave, they will be a bit lacking in wide cover if that's the case.

However what Madrid do now have is 5 midfielders competing for 2 positons, so you would imagine that they would want to move on one of these 5: Kroos, Xabi Alonso, Modric, Illarramendi and Khedira.

Given that they just signed Kroos, Illarramendi cost them £34m last summer, Khedira is now apparantly not for sale and it seems very unlikely that they will sell Modric, i would hazard a guess that the most likely player to move on is Alonso.

Apparently Ancellotti has said he will play the same system as last year, which means 3 midfielders. J-Rod is likely to be on the bench when Ronaldo and Bale are both playing.

If true I think it'll have to be either Isco or Illarmendi, both would be great in Poch's system. However I'm not too keen on just a loan.
