    Too much churn. We'll end up just as disjointed and chaotic as our rivals. The key advantage we've got over them is our stability, cohesion and teamspirit.

    They can only be sold though if people really want them...I'm not sure that is the case for each of these players.

    was thinking about the purchases are rivals and others have made (spending huge amounts of money) and thought - which players have been bought that would improve our first XI and which have been bought that would improve our bench (and the key is they would take a squad role). Not many to be honest. Pogba is one but would any of Jose's other signings start for us? Would rather have Kane than an old Ibra. How many of them would be happy with a squad role. Same with Citeh, Goons, Chelscum. The only other player is Mane BUT there are alleged attitude issues and is he really better than Lamela or Eriksen?

    It makes our lack of spending seem less alarming in a way.

    We are in a good place - best signings we can make are extending contracts of the likes of Lamela + Eriksen
