Jamaica has more to it than just reggae. It's too tenuous.

Bob (Mali) makes much more sense.

Bob Marley is Jamaican. He sang i shot the sherrif. Jamaican player good enough for us = Raheem Sterling or Leon Bailey. It’s obviously not Sterling so by process of elimination, the answer is Leon Bailey.

Why are we overthinking this, SC? This isn’t cabbages.

I think it's Amadou Haidara.

I'd say the most likely answers so far are Leon Bailey for yesterdays and Amadou Haidara for todays. Both those guys fit very well with their relevant cryptic.

Can't imagine there being a cryptic for Haidara. He's not a big name and we've already been linked with him in the papers.
