rebrab's counting abilities have to be called into question now! if his ITK wasn't so good I think we ought to be calling for him to be hung! brilliant :-D

Don't most players have a loyalty clause in their contracts which states if they hand in a transfer request they lose their percentage of sales fee.
Yeah, I know. My point is, if Parker wants to come so badly, waive your right to your cut of the sale price, which will probably be around a month's wages for him anyway, and get the process moving along immediately.

I know Parker is a money motivated footballer, but what difference would a couple hundred grand make in order to get the move he wants?

I think you guys are being a bit harsh on Rebrab for suggesting we could have a team of 12 players. Man United have been getting away with it for years.

Arguably, any team with Andy Reid in it could technically fall into that category as well.

It is amazing isn't it, how many of us (remove club loyalty) as a professional footballer would take say 50k a week to play in a team with the like of Bale, Modric and VDV over 70k to play with a bunch of nobodies. Surely once you reach the point where you've set yourself up for life and secured your families future the "project" has to be a bigger draw than the wage.

I can think of Bent choosing us over the Hammers for less money but not many other examples spring to mind.

complete lack of ambition and ability to identify younger players (under 30!!) who can help us into the top four - you see who our competitors for the top four sign this summer then you judge it against our signings - i bet it wont be pretty

i am a fan of harry but he has a reflex action towards geriatrics

I really like the idea of Sandro and Parker kicking lumps out of people then giving it to Modric to do his stuff.

I just don't quite see how we'll ever play Sandro, Parker, Modric and VdV in the same team. Obviously it's a squad game so we won't always want to play all 4 but I'd say one of them will be missing in most games.

I really can't see Parker being anything but a 4th choice CM, especially as he tends to hit the wall after about 25 games a season now.

Sadly I think only one team is allowed to sign Mark Clattenburg and Ferguson doesn't want to sell.

I wouldn't say that. I just think that after his experiences when he tried (and failed) to move up to this level before (with Chelsea), he chose to move to clubs where he'd get first team football (Newcastle and West Ham).

I still can't ever see Harry playing anything else other than 4-4-2.

If we're playing one up front then you only need three strikers at the club.
