Why are the majority unable to stop jumping to conclusion.

Chill - you are all getting over excited!

We will all know soon enough.

So we dont sign Moutinho or whoever its not the end of the world.

To early to judge, and we don't know the facts, but nevertheless I'd be worried if our new manager was not being supported 100%

TBF Ryan you are a little biased as you have been consistently one of the most anti levy posters for a while.

Im not anti-Levy. Im pro Spurs.

I like what he does in the end but its always so complicated.

5 points from a possible 21 pre window closing the last 3 years. Because he chooses to wait wait wait

There are some things that would go better unmentioned. If Levy and AVB are having a row it is downright dangerous to divulge that information to the fans IMO. Wish JJ had locked that comment in a cellar somewhere. I don't mind negative news regarding transfers but this could be incredibly damaging especially since JJ provided zero context.
Agree, can't expand on a little info on a signing but leaks a major split in the management of the club. Doesn't make any sense. Going to bed now and pretend it's still 5pm this afternoon - positive thoughts!

Seriously look at this logically (if logic hasnt packed its bags and fucked off yet!), all these ITK's hear snippets of info and interpret it in their own way, using their own preconceptions, biases and foibles.... Not one of these ITK's is 100% accurate and how could they be, they aint levy and they aint AVB so they dont know what is truly going on, with any degree of certainty.

Levy has a reputation of squeezing the last drop out of every deal as his remit is to run a tight ship, and he does it fucking well.... I will not accept any arguements about that, he does!, the proof is right in front of your fucking eyes year upon year. But guess what ...... Chairmen at other clubs also have the same remit and some of em, lyon, inter (br), marseille, porto as examples are killers just like levy.....

If AVB truly has had a pissy fit about our business dealings then he really is a wet lettuce and isnt the stubborn, driven individual we were sold, and if he is that type of individual how did he survive at porto with their levy-alike.

Logic ..... its a bit like mass hysterical panic typing, only you read stuff and consider it before you respond

Very disappointed at JJ, really disappointed. The comment about AVB throwing his toys out the pram did not need uttering, especially as there is zero context. We're on the eve of the busiest day of the year and JJ just doused everything with gasoline and set it alight.

Agreed. Also it's hard to believe that someone who got all his info from a close person to Harry would giving us a 100% accurate rundown of how things are. The idea that Levy would be so petty to not even ring Porto is an absurd statement to make.

That was a fucking joke :)

if they did have a fall out then i can only blame levy because almost every manager he's had he's fallen out with it can only mean he's doing something wrong

As our dear leader AVB might say...

tonight has not been a particularly gratifying dimension to this transfer window.

However, remember folks, pinch of salt, nothing's done until the deadline slams shut, etc etc etc, so let's not start imagining a massive rift between Levy and AVB just yet, and let's not get too disheartened – there's still over 24 hours of Levytime to go!

Remember he also gets things wrong (all itks do)

Possible all I know is that last night I was told bar medical Moutinho was pretty much done and if he was coming VDV would be allowed to go if he wanted to. Shrug

But that doesn't sound like Mouts was dependent on VDV going to me? And what has happened to wreck the Moutinho deal throughout the course of today?

SPURS, WHY ARE YOU SO NONSENSICAL?!

That was a fucking joke :)

Sorry, I'm all out of humour right now, JJ just set off a nuclear bomb and you've not been helping much Ryan. Jokes are fine, but to make a joke whilst at the same time giving out ITK is a bit hamfisted. We now get the idea that Levy is deliberately trying to undermine his managers.

Levy better lower his expectations this season to.
Cant demand a top 4 finish in the hardest league in the world and not back your new manager one bit!

sorry but Levy shouldn't be in charge of choosing players, is getting behond a joke, been going on since Martin Jol, what predigree does he have to pick footballers qualities, can't just come down to money, we have spent money so far based on what is good value for money rather than strengthen the areas in which we need, ffs people we got more options in goal than up front with one day of the window to go, if we don't bring anyone in buck stops with Levy.

That is where we are now. To become a top-tier team, competing in the CL every year, we would need to spend that little bit extra to get the players that truly fit our squad, or are just that little bit special. Without the financial risk, there isn't the reward. Maybe Levy will let AVB have a few players before the transfer ends, we make it to the CL, and Levy sees these players as a good investment.
