I dont get it. Do we have insurance on our players?Levy will never sign a player who we can't get insured. End of.

So can we all confirm and be confident that finally Vertonghen will be a spurs player by the weekend? Judging by the ITK'S today and rumours in holland, to me this looks to be done. Vertonghen is a spur

@ spurger king, but normally when 3 ITK'S say "done deal" which they have today, it almost certainly means it's happening surely? POTL get's good feedback on here and he has put his neck on the line to say he will be a spurs player, surely this means we got him?
It probably does, and I'm hoping it happens in the next couple of days too, however I'm just trying to retain a healthy skepticism to save myself from being too confident.
POTL also said Diarra was 'done' last summer.

Ba's over rated. I say Ba to Ba.
Yup.
Ba humbug.
He had an immediate impact, so did Chamakh.
With that injury record, I would be wanting to see another year of him delivering and not breaking down beofre I would even remotely think there was any wisdom in going for him.
i would think most players would fail a medical at stoke the way they play! All the talk of Ba being a crock is due to the fact he failed the Stoke medical a few years back. He went on to play 12 times for West Ham scoring 7 times, then 34 times for newcastle scoring 16 times and not forgetting he also went to the African cup of nations.
Are the same doubters questioning Remy as he almost failed Marseille medical due to a heart condition.
BTW, I find it wholly spurious when folk in the real World trying and make what goes on in their careers in some way analagous to footballers' careers. They are nothing alike. One of the reasons footballers get paid a fortune is because they are so unalike.
Also, you can't compare how Fabregas was at the end of his Goons career with how Modric was last year. Fabregas had been tapped up the two previous Summer's, making that his third at the Scumerates when he had wanted to go and the Goons refused to let him. Wait until Modric has been here for a third season after Modric-Gate began, and see how he is and then compare it to Fabregas.
