Given the lack of recent news re: Cahill or any news re: Gyan, I'm guessing those two are non-starters now. Shame.

The Huntelaar thing is looking more and more like pie in the sky I'm afraid. There would be some news somewhere if it was really as close as the Journo has suggested. Farfan even less likely.

Diarra is also surely off - no movement on wages.

I don't think anything is 'off' at this stage but I think it's looking increasingly unlikely that we'll see the flurry of transfer activity some of us were expecting.

May even end up just being Parker in and a few out at this stage.

Still no confirmed outgoings, this is more worrying than not getting the players in. However, still reckon we will sign at least 3 more players. I think alot of players will be loaned (Jenas, Bentley, Crouch on loan & Bassong, Hutton, Gio all sold)

Agreed. I'm certainly not expecting a 'wow' signing or someone completely out of left field so it does look like Gary Cahill the only possible 'in' which is by no means a bad thing although it is surely contingent on Bassong leaving.

Really? That's interesting. I thought he was meant to be a fairly hard worker or does he only do that for Ghana then?
