If we end the window having brought in Friedel, Cahill, Parker, Adebayor, Falque, Coulibaly and Ceballos, I think most people will agree it was successful. Of course, it also raises the question of why the deals for Cahill, Parker and Adebayor couldn't have been done four weeks earlier.

Hopefully the hints at another striker signing by some of our ITKs pans out and we manage to remove both Crouch and Pav from the squad today.

Could be tricky with the time constraints, and surely lack of gravity could cause issues

Time constraints would certainly be an issue. Though not majorly so. They could get a private hospital to do the essentials. They have the Spurs records which have to be given over. They have coaches and physios from the national team around him. If they want their own staff to take a look then they all jump in a plane and if need be so does he and meets half way.

This is obviously about being in Africa. Not somewhere else in the universe. With the shuttle program ended I'm not sure of the next time that will be possible.

Good news re: Cahill

Parker
Cahill
Hopefully NOT Cole or Benayoun
Last hour surprise rabbit: Marin/Huntelaar

Get rid of Hutton/Gio/Bents/Crouch or Pav/Jenas

Gutted I have work!

Enjoy everyone!

Marin would be absolutely quality - be amazed if we pull off that deal though.

I really hope we can get Cahill done. Much needed!

That and Parker seems to be the extent of our business. Can't see anyone else being brought in now, which is a shame, as we desperately need a replacement for Aaron Lennon.

Until I see a few media outlets reporting that a Cahill bid has been accepted, I will continue to be skeptical, as I think Bolton want straight cash for him, which I have a hard time seeing us pony'ing up. I think Arsenal need to be watched still, as they have a huge sum of money to burn through and they still could use cover at CB for Vermaelen.

What Arsenal and Liverpool do is nearly as important as what we do. It's been said Liverpool are interested in adding Zarate as cover for Suarez, which would frankly be very disappointing for us, as they already are very strong in attack.

I think we still need another striker badly. Huntelaar or Papiss Cisse would be great. If Adebayor gets hurt or is off form, we will virtually have no chance of finishing in the top 4.

No.

Coyle has said that any cash they get for anyone goes to servicing the clubs debts. That's why they prefer players.
