Hmmm.................... "Grocer" can be roughly translated to "Kramer", i.e. Christoph.

He's also german, hence a Kraut (informal slang, possibly not PC, yet German for Cabbage).

Yup Grocer = Lebensmittelhandler  or 'kramer'. That's got to be one.

I put Kramer into google translate and one of the suggestions that came up was grocer, or small shopkeeper.

The Brussels sprout is a member of the Gemmifera Group of cabbages, so would fit in with the 'smaller cabbagge' part of the cryptic. So from that i would guess Mitrovic as his current club is R.S.C. Anderlecht of Brussels.

Wasn't going to post this, because it wasn't from my usual source, but with good connections in Spain heard we were in for both Toby and Suarez from Athletico.

It fits small and large, but not sure about cabbage

There is the cannonball cabbage also known as a 'mammoth brussels sprout.'

We are signing Mitrovic and Tielemans. :)

Ok, so I'm liking the small cabbage being Brussels Sprout (Belgian), so what other larger cabbage do we have?
  • Savoy (could be hotel related, e.g. Hilton, Ritz, Carlton)
  • Red (rouge, rosso, rood, rote, vermelho, rojo)
  • White (blanco, blanc, bianco, Weiss)
Same grocer suggests selling club.

Hmmm...

isnt Kohl german for cabbage?

Both are, but kohl is more commonly used to be the equivalent of how we use "crap". I think Kraut is associated with the word 'cabbage' as a plant or herb, which is why you get "saurkraut", which translates as "Sour Cabbage"
