Hmmm, so one of berglads guesses is accurate, and one of the two is able to play up front. If these two descriptions are actually of the same player, then one of scouts two is Elia as he's the only berglad guess who can play up front.

However, it might just be that it's one of berglads other guesses, and the one who can play up front is the other player.

The brilliant minds on COYS are getting closer... Won't mention names as said, will leave that for others.

Elia or Bastos for the left side, and Capoue, Matuidi, and Mahamadou or Alou Diarra for DM could be possibilities too?

Oooh...

That's a lot of names. Maybe only 1 of them is an accurate guess...

If it's the same players I've heard, then no. Well, one of them could be, but it's not his preferred position.

However, I'm not going to say who it is, as all I've been told are the names, and if the source didn't want to disclose the information, then I won't either. That's my only reason for not saying.

The comment I made above is the closest you'll get to finding the name of one of them.

From Scutch's hints, it sounds like one could be Elia (could be a forward but not his preferred position). Unless of course the winger/forward is the one I missed, in which case it's probably Capoue/Matuidi (I missed Mahamadou Diarra was on the COYS "not list"). I'm doubtful we'd be looking for premier-league untested young DMs though with Sandro on the way though.

Another possibility: Andre Ayew from Ghana who had a pretty decent world cup.

Cheers for posting my post from COYS

Plus, is anyone having problems getting on COYS recently?

Not sure that upgrading on Jimmy Walker and Ben Alnwick was a priority really.

I think he is meant to be competition for Gomes - not just a benchwarmer/training GK

More stuff indirectly from COYS:

Does anyone seriously think that Daniel isn't willing to invest money into player transfers this summer? Perhaps better to assess on September 1st Coysers. One thing I would suggest is that Daniel may be over cautious in terms of wages, which has its pros in the fact that we have financial stability, and cons in the fact that it could lead to losing out on a player (Joe Cole-We did make a fabulous offer, but not to the £90k pw he is getting at Liverpool). But suggesting he isn't supporting Harry on transfer money is way off the mark, all he has ever tried to achieve is success and champions leage football- do you think that now we have got the latter, he isn't going to support a manager who cost him £5m in compensation when he tells him who we need to strengthen the squad?

Easy to pass judgment, better to wait until the end of the window to see exactly who comes in and out. As I have said throughout this window, we are working on bringing in our signings, and yes they are linked in with player swaps, and optimistic they will come off.

POTL

Bloody well said that Phantom.

Anyone on COYS - has POTL stated whether the deal for Pletikosa is loan or transfer?

Think its a loan with a view to a permanent transfer, though that ain't from POTL, just an educated guess from everything I've read regarding the deal.

“Spurs are to get Stipe on loan for the whole of the season and then will have the first option to buy him,” according to his agent Marco Naletilic.
