It's not really a war chest if we have £28m (once Soldado goes through) in the bank to start with.

It's an exposure of £7-12m until we can sell Lennon and a few other fringe players.

I.e. it's within our MO.

He is mentioned as a possible out from time to time. I think the total list of "possibles" is still relatively long, and which names we hear from that list will differ from day to day.

Our current profit + Soldado + Lennon probably won't be enough to bring in the 3 players we are after, so I've been expecting that at least one of Fazio, Dembele and Carroll will end up going as well to help balance the books.

Think that may have been paper talk aguero was 38 million quid levy would have known this and not paid it.

German players will be in euro's and with the current awesome exchange rate the pound will go a long way in Germany. That's €49 to €56m.

We sold brook house for £11m. Edmonton has said that the money will go towards transfers rather than the new stadium.

I'd be absolutely stunned if we managed 4.

I think the DM and two st/wfs are the priority and the 4th is last week move for the little *ahem* cabbage if we shift everyone out and he's still at Utd...

So would I. I have been hearing exactly the same line for well over a month and nothing I am hearing has changed. 1 CM and 1 forward are a must and one more forward if we can move the right people on. Aside from what I have heard I don't see how a winger remotely fits into MP's plans unless we are looking to convert one to a WF role.


As for Faz I don't know if we are looking to sell him now, but from what I have been told he is not the type who would be happy sitting on the sidelines. I wouldn't be surprised if he has asked to move in order to play, and considering our options I think we'd let him for the right money.

Just what I wanted to hear, that said this doesn't go too far these days. Possibly two if it's Kramer and Berahino. However if you bring Werner in as a third it becomes tough unless we are getting someone like Bender at a knock down price (not a bad thing by any means).

We ending up losing money effectively as Harry had his wallet stolen

He has something about him but i think 5 CB's is too many. Out of the 5, he'd be the one i'd let go.
