I recall one of the Goats bleats being about Deli Alli being at the training ground for his photo so obviously that source is from in or around the club so, if and I'm hoping it is, the same source about Ade and Bobby clearing their lockers, then I'm choosing Team Goat.
In response to:

''Spurs yet to contact Saido Berahino.....''

@TransitionTHFC nonsense! Maybe not officially......

=================================================================================================

Sounds like we may have things tied up with Berahino but not WBA...naughty....:whistle:
I think by not officially he could mean that we've discussed the fee with WBA but not tabled an official bid, no way we'd go behind a clubs back directly to the player.

Regardless of what Gards has suggested it is good to hear the other ITKs sticking to their guns that Ade is all but gone and that we appear to be close to both Werner and Berahino

Interesting MP has publicly said Ade and Lennon not in his plans this pm. Presume it's to help shove Ade into Villa's arms, but could surely devalue Lennon to possible buyers?

So we should just accept that it's fine to wait for that perfect signing to happen on September 1st @11:52pm, 4 games into a season....? i happen to think that something is fundamentally wrong with our transfer policy if we always end up in the same boat year after year. And my vagina is now clear of sand, i washed it this morning thank you very much :sneaky:

It might be clear of sand, but reading your posts it looks like you cleaned it with a brillo pad.

We aren't 4 games into the season, so that's really just a dummy spit question. I could sympathise with your argument if you were, in any way, shape or form, willing to take on board the counterargument, which is extremely logical from all parties.

You act like some of us are content with the way we are forced to do business. We're not content with it, but we understand that our place in the food chain limits us to this. Until our revenue stream puts us in a position where we can compete on wages and transfer fee's, we have no choice but to do our business in this manner, when looking for that craved higher quality player. As Stoof has said, the asset has a voice. Not just his own but also that of his agent, his manager (who may or may not advise him on clubs to choose), his family and even friends. When a top feeder club makes an offer, it's unlikely that the player will hold out for a better offer, as it's a top club after all. If there is interest from a top club, in a player we want to sign, any agent worth his salt will advise him to take his time.

This is the dilemma we have with not just top drawer players, but potential top players like Berahino.

Hopefully you'll take a little time to try and see it from the other perspective. None of us likes our situation, but some of us understand it. Without the ability to pay the whopping wages Citeh did to attract top players before they made it to the CL, we are going to struggle to land any top quality early. Quality is in demand, not to mention being stockpiled by the likes of Chelsea and City.

The club is currently working to put us in the position to compete financially. Until then, this is how it needs to be if we are to sign that better quality of player.

I've worked out why Adebayor hasn't been announced yet.

I was in the Club Shop today and they still have three Ade t-shirts (reduced to 8 quid) on the sale racks.

Levy ain't going to let a player leave while he's still got merch to shift. If you want Ade gone, I'd go in tomorrow and buy them.

Gards just tweeted this. It doesn't seem to be in reply to anything, so I'm scratching my head a bit.

Meireles! Honestly! Give me Cambiasso every day of the week on a 1 year deal!!

Also this in a separate tweet:

@DarrenLeeBolton don't know much about Werner but I do know SB is wanted and poch approves
The first bit is just opinion I think. It's in reply to a shitty story that came out this evening, which he has called 'nonsense'.

Yep, you're right, he calls it "absolute rubbish" several tweets back. Going to delete the first tweet before it causes aggravation! ;)

But don't you think if he said Lennon was in his plans it would come across as rather disingenuous?

That is 7 exclamation marks in 3 short sentences. That can only be a positive sign :)

I hope that is positive and not WBA leading us to believe he was for sale at right price and now pulling out the rug from under us.
