Only seen him once or twice but Lobotka looks interesting. Not going to lie tho, was kind of hoping we might have managed to get Kovacic.

Eh? Do you mean £14m left to pay off? We will still have to pay that off if we sell him...

Unless we just give him back to Newcastle and right it off! I wouldn't be against that if anything just to see my Newcastle supporting friends face.

We've only outlayed £16m on Sissoko so far. £24m left to pay off. For Janssen we've received £8m (ish) in loan fees, so selling for £8m-£10m is ok in order to get our money back.
6 million loanfee for last season for Janssen I believe.

2 years into a 5 year £30m deal = £12m paid, £18m left. But not for this thread.

Where's the Amos, Skipp and Ononmah ITK? Should this get one reply and take the thread further off topic, teletext awaits you.
I've posted in here for a fair few transfer windows and always (attempted to!) stick by the rules so allow me one foolish question... surely when there has been ITK about selling a CM and there has been no progress on buying a CM, a brief discussion about which of our existing CM might fill the gap created is discussing the ITK, no? I certainly didn't read Dillspur's post and think SPAM!

All seems to be taking off. Today’s itk merely confirms what we’ve known for several years, and what @Trix has repeatedly told us: we leave it late, we choose to do so as it leverages certain things in our favour, and it’s nothing to do with the multitude of things being spouted during the last 6 weeks of tantrums on this forum.

Interesting with offers starting to pop in now. Could it be that the early window close is working in our favour this week? Given our lack of incomings foreign clubs starting to realise that if they don't buy now we might not let anyone go later as we won't weaken our squad at that stage.

Very cunning Danny boy... :cautious:

Well it does seem that the interest in our deadwood picks up late on (sell to buy/squad management). Guess that's where lower PL clubs start looking at transfer listed players more seriously.

I've struggled over the years to work out exactly what the rules are and the best definition I can come up with is 'whatever A&C says they are at the time'. It's a movable feast. This isn't a criticism but probably a necessity given there are times when people are just taking the piss and others when A&C's bag for life has obviously been in an accommodating mood :cautious:. I've learned to just go with it and don't complain and any bans inadvertently accrued will hopefully be short.

Reading the posts on this page I thought there was something substantial. Have I missed something or is it just supposed bids for Sissoko and Janssen?

Sorry to sound like Mr. Negative but I'll only be happy when that actually happens. It's too late in the window to be getting excited by hope for me, I'm wanting to see things being completed.

The Sissoko deal was 30 in full with Payments, no getting out of that one....

Check Lobotka and Grealish threads.
