Interesting comment seeing as we have some reasonably high profile players out on loan, notably Holtby and Carroll.

Holtby is not coming back.

Besides, Pochettino is correct, they are all in "the plans". Just means that some are in the plans for outgoings, that's all. So he is not technically lying. Technically.

McCarthy is a great player. He played for Hamilton Academical youth in my age group and he was regarded by pretty much everyone in the system as the best young player in the Scottish game for the last 10/15 years.

Would love him at Spurs, even though I think he's a wanker for choosing Ireland!

If we are going for top 4 then when buying players I like to compare them to their counterparts from our opposition.

Arsenal have Arteta and Flamini, McCarthy crushes both.
We would obviously be weakening Everton
He's better than Henderson
On par with Schneiderlin IMO
