wow, 3rd itk on this
atlanta yid: just got an email saying will be confirmed tomorrow. I know I am just confirming what prof has passed on but my friend just emailed me and told me it will move the club forward

about nfl obv
I wouldn't be surprised if we hear about it in the press tonight for tomorrow's papers, maybe with additional details.

It's so typical of my luck that the one week I won't really have access to the internet due to work experience, there could potentially be two major (and one fucking massive) announcements. Thanks Daniel.

You got some statistical evidence to back that up?

This is it Rodney, this time next year we are going to be millionaires!!!

Have literally no clue about the NFL apart from randomly supporting the Miami Dolphins back in 88...

Sorry if this is off topic, but I haven't understood exactly what this NFL deal is? I know NFL the american sport, but that cannot be relevant to our stadium in London?

They'll rent our stadium out for 8 games a season. We get about £1m a match for having a plastic roll-out pitch

It'll be like having double naming rights income.

Well this is all very exciting. I'm looking forward to seeing any potential redesign of the new stadium.

The only way Tim could get Ade through the door is by taking the 1st team squad off the wage bill.
Wonder what sort of money Benteke is on, must be a fair chunk of ades wage, so if as expected Benteke goes to the dippers that goes a long way to covering it.

Can't wait for the NFL announcement and see what it holds for us. As someone else says it will surely lead to bigger companies with worldwide reputations interested in naming right and sponsorships.

We could go from 'Sainsburys Stadium' to 'Under Armour Arena' overnight.

Was thinking that would be bad news that it isn't actually a franchise coming over and just a couple of games a year, but everyone seems so positive about it I guess it's still got tremendous upside.

I suppose as well that it may not be a franchise today, but we have future proofed any potential such developments in the future to come our way.

FYI: Pepsi is the NFLs biggest sponsor (official drink of all major leagues here now). Pepsi was outed by Coca-cola for the MLS and US Soccer. I wouldn't be surprised if they were interested in having a tie to us.

To dare is to dew.

I'll show myself out :bag:

Wrt naming rights, can't see there being any split on stadium name for football / NFL, but sure Levy would be absolutely rinsing every penny out of global reach of match day advertising / coverage, pitch side hoardings etc.

No idea how much that would actually equate to over a season, but as was said before, zero benefit as far as I can see in an immediate 'football' sense, so there would be no reason to go in to this other than significant ££ benefit, to ultimately improve off field position for future investment back in to the team.

There really is no other club in the world like ours is there. This year alone I have been fascinated by live courtroom reporting of a legal battle over a compulsory purchase order for a sheet metal works, been excited by a link to an NFL team playing at our new stadium and the potential revenue that could bring, Charles at the complexity of is buying a player that will result in two other teams having a legal wrangle and we only play football too which also brings flashes of joy

Bill "eXXXTREEEME" Nicholson refused to go skate or snowboarding without his trusty flask of Mt. Dew, so it would be a fitting tribute.
