TN may have had an attitude change but is it too little to late for Jose though?

Agree. I think I will be swimming against the tide here but it’s leopards and spots for me.
Clearly we have set the price high, no adequate offers have come in so all of a sudden TN is happy again :-/
Will believe when I see him busting a gut or lasting 90 minutes or even getting a start. This is a huge about turn.

Does anyone actually expect this materialize?

He's going to have to completely reinvent himself as a player.

Nope, I don’t see it happening ? but look, if he knows we’re not going to sell him, he may as well try.

Agreed.

I think it's more that he's saying the right things because the writing is on the wall.

Levy isn't selling him for a 20 mil loss after a year, and no one is spending more than 30 mil on him right now so he's staying by default.

I hope he figures it out, but I think it's a long shot to take a guy who has had effort and concentration issues his whole career and expect him to fit into what Jose is trying to do here, particularly in the PL.

He should get some opportunities in Europa and the cups, but I don't see him being trusted in the League.

TN not leaving!
UNLESS serious money offer comes in. And even if does not certain he will want to leave. He wants to prove himself, and actually loves being here.
I know anything can happen. But? I doubt it.

Not bashing (really I’m not mods pls) but literally a couple of weeks ago he had a ‘rank stinking attitude’.

I guess two weeks is a long time in football.

I’m glad he loves it here, Otherwise I’d be concerned he’s be over weight and not put in the requisite effort...

Wow what a turnaround.

You know, the more I think about it, the more I am almost certain that all the negative ITK about him not training and Jose finding him unprofessional comes from that positive COVID test. That was probably given to the club a week or two before publicly released.
Lol, been going on for months. All great if he wants to stay and prove himself, he's a real talented player.

I do question why he turned up to pre season out of shape if this was the case though. Him staying isn't really the issue. The issue is will Jose change his mind and play him if he does.

Guess with the latest ITK suggesting we're not in for a RB, he's probably going to develop with rotation in that role. Possible Aurier leaving is the deciding factor as whether we invest in another RB would be my best guess depending on everything we're currently hearing.
By that logic, you are suggesting him as developing as a 3rd or 2nd choice RB. I think he has more to offer than that and we really don't need another CH.

I guess the fixture congestion could be a blessing in this case, he'll get chances to impress like Lo Celso did. I thought he was done after Bayern away.

Like you said I'm sure Jose's preference would still be to cash in. Fingers crossed Tanguy puts the work in and wins him over.

Although I’m loving the latest ITK, we’ve been here probably 10 summers in a row.
I really want it to be right this time and everything to fall for us.
But from past experience it never does ?‍♂️?‍♂️

I think with the itk seeming to lean more and more to us signing someone from overseas, the likelihood is that this player will have to quarantine for a week on arrival, meaning that September is probably already a write off in terms of having that player and our signing will sadly be closer to the deadline/ during the next international break.
