Just to leave it here.... if we are signing Martial or Kovacic I see this transfer window as a succes. No matter if Toby or/and Mousa leave or not.

I'd love Ndombele and Grealish in but Toby and Dembele out (both to Manchester!) would still hurt like a bitch. Needs Martial to make it an impressive window and that sounds a 10%-er.

I will genuinely fall out of my chair in shock if we sign any of Kovacic, Ceballos or Ndombele this window...don't get your hopes up!!

If we get Kovacic my johnson will fall off from excessive assult and battery.

I think all of those were the preferred options to Grealish for the number 8 position. So the fact we're going for Grealish means all those are off i'm guessing.

I'd consider Ceballos as an alternative to Grealish, but Kovacic and Ndombele could be brought in as well as - although like I said, just can't see it...

I'm so confused with this 2 in 2 out movement and what it means for the team...

Taking educated guesses, based on the ITK - the two out would be Dembele and Alderweireld.
Dembele based on this mornings ITK and we've been told that there is no way back for Toby at the Club (though would be happy if that isn't that case.

However we have also been told very strongly that Janssen is all but out the door.

So that's 3.

If one of the players coming in is Grealish, that is more cover for Eriksen and a player to perhaps be moulded into a CM.

However if Dembele and Toby leave that also means we have just one other signing coming in (not counting the hopeful Martial at this point) and in reality we would need to sign a decent CB and a top quality CM to not only improve but to make sure we are at even just the same level as last season.

That without the fact that it goes without saying that many of us wanted a player that could play an attacking role including a back up to Kane (such as Martial/Zaha) at the start of the window.

All in all the rumored movements still don't quite make sense to me or leave me feeling outrageously optimistic (nor overly depressed)

Sounds like a lively 2 days based on the ITK - lets hope it all works out in the end.

There've been no media updates on Kovacic since yesterday afternoon, suggesting things aren't done with Chelsea.

Regarding Dembele, I think this also shows the of tactics that Poch may be planning. I think we may see a 4-3-3 with one DM behind two with Eriksen being one and maybe even Dele the other.

I would feel very, very, uneasy at selling Dembele at such a late stage in the window without a seriously well established CM lined up and ready to come in.

For all of his injuries etc, he is an absolute monster of a player and we will be a worse XI without him in there.

Rumour is the Kovacic loan freed up the cash for Chelsea to pay that stupid Kepa fee, Kovacic seems more of a pipe dream at this stage than Martial IMHO.

I was told 2 in & 2 out. One was Grealish in (today), the medical that was planned. I quietly confident we will do 2 deals, as per Trix’s information. Just to add to that. We really are serious about Martial, and will hold our main funds for that, and this window.

If we cannot do that deal, we will not waste it on same area, lesser player. In the last 48 hours, some very good names in desperation being put to us. But! Also to our rivals. Some we were interested before, but they through their agents, was hedging their bets. Today’s work is about finding out if we will be wasting our time, our selling clubs playing games on price and structure.

If this is the case, we will hold out on just the 2 players. Poch berry happy with that.

If the manager is happy then i'm happy. Looks to me United in a bit of turmoil at the moment as are Chelsea. We might be OK with just the 2! Think a change in formation is a foot if no replacement CB in.
