For the last 83 days of the window - Spurs have signed nobody. That actually happened.

I am not going to get worked up about things that might happen tomorrow...
And for the last 17.5 seasons of football Spurs have become progressively better, with both better and better managers, as well as better and better plays.

I can dish out arbitrary statistics too :ninja:

One question I've been asking myself recently.. Why would Daniel be over with the team in the states attending the games? During a time when he should have been busy with transfer dealings, not in the crowd at friendlies watching our B team.
Got to feel late window business was always his plan
Pre season blooding of new recruits obviously isn't important to him ?
Probably not as important as spending £10m less overall, no (or, to you and me, one year of Harry Kane).

SSN: "We'll be live at the training ground of the only club yet to make a signing".

When I was seeing that earlier I just had to laugh to myself, I really can't believe it's the case :ROFLMAO:

With the window closing at 5pm tomorrow that's such a tight deadline, doesn't leave a lot of room for any hiccups. Gotta hope that something develops tonight or something is ready to go with he click of a finger. Although I'm not optimistic at this point.

Can’t believe it’s got to the stage where I’m just clinging to the desperate hope we’ll get Grealish over the line and not sell any decent players.

Not really what I want or expect from a top four club.

Worst of all is after tomorrow we could still be vulnerable to bids from abroad for some key players until the end of the month.

Yeah, I know, I’m a little fucking ray of sunshine me.

I'm pretty sure that it was stated several months ago that deals had already been agreed. Could the plan always have been to announce them on Deadline Day, or am I just clutching at straws. ;)

Definitely not the headline we were all expecting to see this year.

So i'm back after 6 hours of golf at the mens club. And what have we done in the meantime? Fuck all!! It really is starting to get depressing. No In's or Out's. No media talks at all.
A lot can change in 21 hours, but i'm ready to bash Levy along with the rest of you :poop::poop:

Cool story. Whatever keeps your blood pressure high.

He asked for my secret; I told him. If I ask someone to do some work for me by Friday and they haven't done it by Thursday, I'm not going to have a go at them.

Have we done any business yet? No.
Is doing any business still possible? Yes.
Ok, I'll wait until it is no longer possible before declaring a window unsuccessful/successful. That's my concept; earth-shattering I know. Think the world would be a little bit more chilled out if everyone thought like that.

Alas, my method is trying to steer you all with words. Should have listened to A&C and just banned people the shut up.

Fully expect at least 2 announcements tomorrow... Dele and Eriksen contracts, maybe Jan as a bonus.
Levy and Co will think that will appease the fans.

You got some statistical evidence to back that up?

We don't really have 21 hours, bet Levy is tucked up in bed now dreaming about his wheelbarrow.

Certainly not. It's incredibly disappointing and it doesn't look great internally either, the players want to see the club really moving forward too but potentially making no signings in the summer transfer window doesn't send the most positive of messages at all.

Well.. you should all think yourselves lucky. For all of you the window closes tomorrow at 5pm (or 6, I cba to look). I’ll be stuck in the middle of the North Sea moving a poxy oil rig with no comms until Saturday!

I’m gonna be a complete wreck and by that point everything would have all died down and any rant would be pointless.

Praying to get a player in by 12 tomorrow or some ITK to say it’s done!

It's strange because as good news as that would be, it would only further piss me off :ROFLMAO:

I can’t believe they’d even bother sending some second rate hack down there to cover what’s quickly becoming diddly squat :bored:

PARTIAL OPINIONS

7. A few ‘Revisits’ and couple new names has been given to us. Agents not necessarily desperate, but know the buying club who has the cash, will now make the call. I don’t like it, but this is DL’s strength. We know the bottom dollar the selling clubs wants. If there are goers, we will know next few hours. Media will get wind, as agents will use every tool to get these deals done.
Just to pull this one up from earlier (posted at 11.22 this morning), I think it could be very telling that 9 hours later, we haven't heard any stories leaking about us being in for anyone other than grealish

All the early optimism of Poch being given a big pot early doors and entering the new stadium in style all but stamped on and castrated.
