With both limited cash and squad places I just can’t see that’s right

We’re not going to buy a 22 year old we don’t intend to play with some regularity
Pretty sure even Moura wasn’t played too regularly in the first 6 months after signing him in Jan.

I suppose there's nothing wrong with taking a punt on one Championship player a season. If they're young enough and the purchase price is right, they'll still have resale value if it doesn't work out.

I like the signing but can someone tell Levy we’re now down to our last central midfielder... It’s getting a bit silly now.

We might be down to our last forward, too, if Kane is injured and Son off to Asia...

I have seen him live numerous times. And numerous times he has never stood out massively. Not someone I think is gonna be in the future England set up. But am not a big fan of hull players as they don't often produce or buy great players. A lot of ST I work with don't even think he is amazing but one thing he does have is an eye for goal. We may feel we can push him to be a lot better

If Kane and Sissoko are out for any length of time we must buy. DL sitting on his wallet will not secure us CL, we have a lead but no Kane and son we will struggle. Skipp and Winks CM partnership in the most important phase of the season won't do either lol

I don’t think any amount of injuries will affect our transfer policy

Haven’t seen much of Bowen but like the rest in here, not sure that is really anposition if need.
Can we not just throw in a ridiculous bid for De Jong. Here’s a decent bid and wage. Plus Dembele fee and salary.

(Can we also have a look to David Brooks?
He looks like a real player.
If we lose Eriksen, we could do worse than Poch that youngster up for ACM)

The transparency of our transfer excuses is hilarious, oh the players aren’t there, we’re waiting for that special player, we are only looking at HG players, we need to move players on to free squad space, we’re happy with squad and giving youth a chance. You can bet your life if we sold Eriksen next week for £100m all of a sudden we’d bring in 3 x £30m players. Panic buys I don’t know, PR salvaging maybe but we haven’t bought anyone in the summer and aren’t buying anyone now because we do not have any money to spend.

Maybe we’ll get that Bowen but that’s only because his price is basically the same as Dembele. All this we should be looking at a CM though, we aren’t because probably a CM is more than what we have available from Dembele sale.

It’s just not fair on Poch, at all. He is being massively shortchanged by our total lack of action in the window.

Probably not but it should. The ITK on the summer inactivity was that Poch believes that only a very few players can improve the squad but that’s patently no longer true at CM. Anyone half decent would improve us there. January is a shit window to buy in but if Sissoko’s injury is bad then I don’t see how we have much choice. Poch absolutely deserves to have at least one of his first choice targets delivered but the idea that only first choices are good enough for us is absurd right now. And that’s all assuming that we don’t sell Dembele without replacing him.

Can’t say that I’ve seen much of Bowen but I don’t mind us taking a punt on him if he’s cheap.
