Good morning ITK'ers here's your round-up of the events of the weekend. Nothing much happened on Saturday, in fact the thread only went to 3 or 4 pages but Sunday was a LOT busier and we kick things off with the revelation that Liverpool want Crouch.

I was told today by someone who claims to have spoken to a former player at todays game that we are gonna sign Redamel Falcao. Cant really run it by my source until monday so I thought I'd just throw it out there as it were.

Is that something anyone else had heard?

And then news from gay Paree...........

i'm in paris watching canal+ for the 1st day of french season and canal+ just confirmed that "people from tottenham" are at nice in talks for loic remy - they also said that spam are interested

I can't say in all honesty that I know much about him. Loic Remy that is not Gay Paree

Then it all got ruined when, on Saturday night spursandbarca took an almighty dump in the thread......

So, after checking La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport and finding nothing, I sent S&B a PM asking the very same.

His reply went like this;

So we went from the 'Italian Press' to that he got it from the director of AC Milan speaking live on TV. So I checked the football rumours website (I still feel dirty) and guess what I found there?

Yep, the KJH Galliani 'live on TV' stuff.:-|

So he's covered it up by saying 'Italian Press', then Galliani was live on TV but the stark naked truth of the matter is that now you know spursandbarca's 'source'.....footballrumours.com

Sir Henry also told us that he's.......

Been watching Sky Italia (sports and news channels) on mates motorised sat dish and not one of them has talked about the Huntelaar story.

We now now where he got his Villa to Barca by Friday and Txiki Bergeristain in as DoF stories

At the risk of sounding like DC_Boy I told everyone it was horse shit very early in the piece but did anyone take any notice? No. They all carried on, as if the info was straight out of 'arry's cakehole. A right proper frenzy it was, like they were collectively dogbolting Danielle Lloyd and just couldn't stop humping away.

* Tis true im afraid, all personal related. Basically to save his relationship, he been told by Scabby that he gotta get away from London/bad influences and return to her hometown with her. And with Hodgson a massive fan, it all fell into place. Not done yet tho im told. We are keen on Babel and trying to get this included/sorted somehow too. Daniel is working his magic for best deal/price etc

* Again really is the Milner (and Balotelli) deal key to all
Milner and Balotelli to City
Ireland to Villa
Keane to Villa
Bellamy to us

* Still want Richards and Parker, this will drag on

* Young or Babel

* Cardozo/Huntelaar is the choice for No 9

* 2 of O'hara/Jenas/Bentley will go, depends on offers and any potential makeweights in any Villa/West Spam deals.

More on KJH :lol: aaaaah, so THAT's why everyone got all excited last night! Spursandbarca's stuff piggybacked credibility on the back of Brownheads info and it snowballed. And there was me ranting that there was no credible ITK on it. Sorry 'bout that....

So, if Milner goes to City, Villa are anxious now to conclude the deal as they want to use the money... Ireland should go there then they want Keane and Mcgeady(he has been in Russia for talks but waiting on Villa).

If Mcgeady goes to Villa we take Young....

Thats what Harry means... If they dont get Mcgeady they want bentley!

The transfer merry go round is gathering pace.

And it was sort of given some sort of credence when 'arry told us that.........

Well Harry has been on SSN basically saying the 3 players he wants are experienced, won't cost a fortune and with them we'll be pushing for the title :-|

I hope we do. Push for the title. And if it takes signing like someone like Gallas to do it, then so be it.

Then, finally, the last piece of ITK, out late last night was that Crouch was indeed going back to Liverpool........

Liverpool's top ITK is saying that Crouch to them is done.

Meanwhile in the Daily Mail.....
Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp is ready to offload striker Peter Crouch, with Lyon frontman Loic Remy issuing a come-and-get-me plea to Spurs.
I usually take anything from the Mail with a larger than usual pinch of salt but it does tally wih a lot of the above so who knows?

The front page of The Sun has Crouch cheating on Abbey Clancy with a hooker named Monica Mint. Nicknamed Polo - 'The Whore with the hole'......it seems he gave her £800 squiddleys for a bunk up when porking Abbey is free. Is he insane?

Back to the actual football, IIRC today is the deadline for registering any new player and having them eligible to play against Young Boys Berne.

That's your lot. Shedloads of stuff to mull over, Crouch going back to Liverpool, the possibility that Loic Remy coming in, Spursandbarca being exposed, Falcao and plenty more.

Bugger if really true about crouchie. Not sure about babel as part if the deal. Too inconsistent for me. Remy ( who I k ow nothing about , except he ain't all that in football manager) doesn't sound like a direct crouch replacement. Think is def a bad move on our part letting him go. And def don't want kjh if it means losing gio. Not liking the way things are going at the moment one little bit.

I wouldn't mind Babel actually. I think he's a player who Harry could work wonders for. I'd be more excited by him than Remy/Djalo/Falcao who I know nothing about. At least he has Premier League experience aswell. Could be an ideal left sided attacker for us. I'm sure Bellamy is still the 1st choice, but if City keep messing us about, then Babel will do.

I'm not fussed about Crouch. He's a good player and offers us something different, but that alone shouldn't be enough to keep him. When Pav hit form, we looked better up front as a result and played betetr football. Now that Keane looks like he's getting back to his old self again, I would gladly keep Defoe, Keane and Pav and replace crouch with a new number 9.

Conflict between ITK on Cardozo. What I will say is, he is the type of striker we need.

Mcgeady signing moscow so celtic now pushing for a big singing as there fans depserate and they had a free games yesterday for season ticket holders and only 17k out of 32k season ticket holders turned up so there pushing for bellamy as a big signing. city prefer to sell him to celtic he prefers to come to us but he did enjoy his time up in glasgow so could be 2nd choice.

Keane villa will push through or try to as soon as milner leaves which has become obvious but we will only sell once we got who we want in up top which at this moment looks like bellamy one they have chance with.


Levy harry have sat down now and levy is now trying to get the couple in levy wants.

Richards unfortunatly has had good pre season for city one of the only few and city making life very hard for us to get any of there players even though they had at start of summer agreed to sell richards to us

I wouldn't mind Babel actually. I think he's a player who Harry could work wonders for.

You know, as much as I admire Harry's man management, I really don't think we should get carried away with the notion that if a player is shit Redknapp will somehow manage to turn him into Ronaldo, thus he is is a justifiable signing.

Personally I think anything but proper cash value for Crouch isn't acceptable.

Surely DL should be getting the players Harry wants not the ones he wants, after all Harry is the manager not Daniel - couldnt see Harry standing for that myself.

Crouch is worth more than £10 million surely. Considering i doubt harry would really want to sell crouch and his hand is being forced a bit by the recent scandal i'd have thought he'd want to get a decent amount for crouch, and i'd see him as being worth £15mil at least given his prem and europe experience, goals to games ratio, different option to have and the fact he's english and counts as home grown.

No, not alone on that at all, I also think that an on form Keane is a better option than Bellamy and I wouldn't be suprised if others thought the same, just not that many.

I don't see any problem arising between Levy and Harry if DL is now going for his targets and not Harry's if they have talked about it.

Well it looks like we can wave goodbye to Crouchy, and maybe even say hello to Keane for another season (which is absolutely fine by me!).
Part of me wants to say how can Crouch be so stupid, but if any of us were in his position with the money and the opportunity to make these mistakes, i'm sure some of us would.

Loic Remy may be a good option for the short term, however I will be quite concerned if he is our only signing.

i think we should look to keep crouch if possible. He was a KEY player last season and scored some crucial goals, not just the goal against city.
